Dear Friends,

We are now preparing for the Passover.  This year the Passover is under a significant amount of pressure and restrictions.  The States are in lock-down not only in AU but in the US and all over the world. Remember we began the Sanctification period from the New Moon and the New Year (No. 213) this week and we must continue in that Sanctification.

When considering what we are to do we must look at the original Passover in Egypt.  It was on that First Passover when we were not in control of our own destiny and we were forced to remain in our own domiciles.

Whilst Deuteronomy 16:5-8 requires us to be out of our towns (gates KJV).  However when the authorities that are over us prevent us from travelling to be at the chosen place of the Passover (No. 098) and Unleavened Bread for eight days and we are prevented from having church gatherings for any purpose, then we are under quarantine which takes precedence over the gathering for the Passover and we are permitted to isolate ourselves and take the Passover in our own locales.

Remember it was the people of Israel and the Great Multitude that was with them in Egypt that were there in houses preparing for the protection of God from the death Angel that was to smite Egypt on that evening and so must we prepare for that aspect of the beginning of the Wrath of God that will be commenced from this War of the Fifth Trumpet in which we now find ourselves (cf. Wars of the End Part I: Wars of Amalek (No. 141C)).

Remember also that it is on the Seventh Day of Abib, this year falling on the Second Day of the Week (called by the pagans Monday), that we Fast for the Sanctification of the Simple and Erroneous (No. 291). In that text we see the evidence that Christ and the apostles and the elders of the church and its people fasted on the Seventh of Abib each and every year for centuries. So also is it with we of the Church of God of the Last Days in the Philadelphian system.

It is because of the fact that the WCG and offshoots kept and keeps Hillel that they do not follow the Temple system and keep God’s Calendar (No. 156) and for which reason among others they will not enter the First Resurrection (No. 143A) at the Return of the Messiah but will be relegated to the Second Resurrection and the Great White Throne Judgment (No. 143B) a thousand years from then and they have no one to blame but themselves.

Next week pray for our people that err from ignorance and for those that have not been educated in the faith correctly.

Pray that God forgives them for they know not what they do.

Let us hope that we can retrieve them in time for the First Resurrection.
