 Conversion

Conversion is the process by which we are all changed by the Holy Spirit after baptism and set on the track of our destiny to becoming elohim as set out in the Plan of God. It applies to all humans over the entire phase of existence.

John 10:34-36 records: Jesus answered them: is it not written in your law, “I said you are gods”? If He called them gods to whom the word of God came (and Scripture cannot be broken), do you say of him whom the Father consecrated and sent into the world, ‘you are blaspheming’ because I said ‘I am the son of God?’

Here he is quoting the Psalms (82:6) as part of the Law of God (L1).

This purpose was explained in the text Elect as Elohim (No. 001) and the sequence is also listed in the text on the Plan of Salvation (No. 001A).

God has set out the entire Plan of Salvation in a sequence that applies to all mankind. All who have ever lived will be brought into the process of the Plan of God and there will be no exceptions. Each person is Predestined under the Plan of God and chosen to be called in accordance with God’s perfect Omniscience and Predestination (No. 296).

The sequence and procedure is set for all people. Each is chosen and called when it is correct for them to be brought into the faith. No one is to blame for when they are called.  They are simply predestined to be called when it is the optimum time for them to be called so that none are lost.

The sequence is simple and there are two resurrections detailed in the Bible as seen below. All men are born to the patriarchs as sons of Noah.  It is appointed unto all men once to die (Heb. 9:27).  So far all men that have ever lived have lived within the standard life spans of either the patriarchs pre Noah and to Abraham or the prophets at 120 years as with Mariam, Aaron and Moses or the reduced life span of mankind of 70 years as with David and all mankind subsequently.

Only two men have not died to date and these are Enoch and Elijah, and they were not, because God took them (cf. Gen. 5:24; 2Kgs. 2:11). Now we know that Elijah did not die because he was taken into heaven in the chariot of God in the sight of Elisha and the prophets, all of whom knew that he was to be taken on that day. Elijah was taken, as was Enoch, and was sent forward in time to witness to all Israel and the entire world prior to the coming of Messiah.  These two are the two prophesied Witnesses of Revelation 11:3ff. in fulfilment of the prophecy of Malachi 4:5, and as Christ said, Scripture cannot be broken.

These are the prophets of the Last Days stated in Scripture. The Last Prophet before the Two Witnesses is that of Dan-Ephraim of Jeremiah 4:15-27 giving the Warning of the Last Days of the Wars, and the Witnesses, and the Messiah (cf. Warning of the Last Days (No. 044); The Witnesses (No. 135); The Wars of the End Part I: Wars of Amalek (No. 141C); Wars of the End Part II: 1260 Days of the Witnesses (No. 141D); Wars of the End Part III: Armageddon and the Vials of the Wrath of God (No. 141E) and the sequence in the text of Israel as the Plan of God (No. 001B) and  Israel as the Vineyard of God (No. 001C)).

Deuteronomy 32:8 (RSV, LXX, DSS) shows that Israel was the predestined inheritance of the Messiah among all nations (not as per the alterations of the KJV and MT).

Israel was brought out of Egypt by the Angel of the Presence who the patriarchs knew as the Elohim of Israel and the Angel of Redemption (Gen 48:15-16; Job 33:23); whom we now know as Jesus Christ (cf. Acts 7:30ff. and 1Cor. 10:4) (cf. Angel of YHVH (No. 024); Pre-existence of Jesus Christ (No. 243)).

There are two phases of existence. The elementary phase is as humans and the second phase is as Spirit beings. Not all beings go through the human phase. The Loyal Host are spared the human phase but they have two segments.  The first is as spirit beings but they are not immortal but granted immortality as Christ was granted immortality from his Resurrection and as we will be granted the same immortality as coheirs either from the Resurrection or through translation at the resurrections either the First or the Second or at the end of the Judgment and retraining.

Those predestined to be part of the First Resurrection and to be the replacement host for the Demons are tested and taken out of the creation into the ex-anastasin or out-resurrection (Phil. 3:11) in the First Resurrection of the Dead (No. 143A). This is at the Return of the Messiah and for the millennial system and the Morning Star rulership of the earth for 1000 years and the Second Resurrection. The Fallen Host are reduced to human beings, and killed and then resurrected as humans to the Second Resurrection and the Great White Throne Judgment (No. 143B) and Judgment of the Demons (No. 080).

Every human who is of the Adamic creation and who has ever lived will be resurrected to and for the Second Resurrection and all God’s Creation will be corrected and retrained and prepared for eternal life as Elohim, sons of God (cf. also How God Became a Family (No. 187); Wars of the End Part V: Restoration for the Millennium (No. 141G) and Wars of the End Part VB: Preparing the Elohim (No. 141H)).

Satan’s Fake System

In order to destroy the Plan of the Creation and the Plan of Salvation Satan lied from the beginning.

Lie 1.  And you shall not surely die.

This lie was dependent on the doctrine of the Immortal Soul which is another lie (cf. The Soul (No. 092)).

Lie 2.  You are not dependent on the Resurrection from the Dead through the power of God. He even hooked a complete section of the Sadducean Jews with this lie.

Lie 3.  He then invented the lie of Heaven and Hell and corrupted the plan as laid out in the Law and the Testimony.

With these three lies he managed to corrupt the understanding of all mankind except for the chosen elect given the Holy Spirit (No. 117).

The Fourth Lie to catch those that might not have swallowed the above was that one does not need baptism as a repentant adult and can be set aside as an infant or not at all (cf. Repentance and Baptism (No. 052); Antinomian Denial of Baptism (No. 164E)).

He caught most of Judah with this and Arabian Islam and Trinitarian Christianity. Through this simple lie most were confined to the Second Resurrection.

So also he was able to destroy many nations with the denial of the Laws of God in Antinomian Attacks on the Laws of God (No. 164D).

The Stages of Conversion

The First Stage of the conversion was the identification of Israel with the Baptism of the Red Sea and the Exodus. The Mixed Multitude pointed to the Salvation of the Gentiles and the Scythian Hittites and the E3b Egyptians who moved with them into Sinai and received the Laws of God from Christ (Acts 7:30ff. and 1Cor. 10:4).

This action identified the Israelites and the Gentiles with them as the chosen people.

The Covenant of God (No. 152) was given to Israel and the Law and the Testimony were given through the prophets up to the Messiah. Then the Holy Spirit was given to those seeking entry to the Kingdom of God with Christ as we saw with First and Second Statements of the Covenant (No. 096B).

The churches were then established all over the world as we see detailed in the texts:

Establishment of the Church under the Seventy (No. 122D) and also Christianity and Islam in the Covenant of God (No. 096C).

The church in Europe was destroyed by false doctrine from Rome as we saw in the texts in Binitarian and Trinitarian Misrepresentation of the Early Theology of the Godhead (No. 127B) and also by Antinomianism and Gnostic Doctrines as we see in Antinomian Destruction of Christianity by Misuse of Scripture (No. 164C); Antinomian Attacks on the Law of God (No. 164D); Antinomian Denial of Baptism (No. 164E).

God’s Calendar (No. 156) was destroyed from within Judaism and especially after the Fall of the Temple in 70 CE (cf. Distortion of God’s Calendar in Judah (No. 195B) and after the distortions in 192 CE in the Quartodeciman Disputes (No. 277) and regarding the Sabbath from 366 CE.

God’s Calendar was only kept correctly in the First Eras of the Churches of God in Europe until the post Reformation period and in Asia and Africa until the Eighth century and then only in the last years of the 20th and 21st centuries within CCG.

The Calendars were never kept fully or correctly in either Sardis or Laodicea and most of them will not enter the First Resurrection. Nor will post 699 CE Islam enter the Kingdom of God that did not keep the Calendar and the Law and the Testimony (see Hebrew and Islamic Calendar Reconciled (No. 053); Sabbath in the Qur’an (No. 274); and the Koran on the Bible, the Law and the Covenant (No. 083)).

Anyone that does not keep the Law and the Testimony and speak according to it, is not converted, and has no light in them (Isa. 8:20).

Those that do not keep the Sabbaths, New Moons and Feasts will not enter the First Resurrection and will die (Isa. 66:23; Zech. 14:16-19; Col. 2:16.) So also the Koran requires the Sabbaths and New Moons and Feasts to be kept. So also the Prophet kept Atonement on a different day to Hillel and in accord with the New Moon Conjunctions as was kept by the Churches of God and in the Temple.

Terms for Conversion

The terms for the process of conversion are the same the world over. The initial process is to be chosen by God and called to repentance.

Once called the Holy Spirit works with you until baptism.  To be baptised you must be an adult of 20 years of age which is the age of an adult ready for military service in the army of Israel (Deuteronomy 20 (No. 201).

You must be determined to keep the Law and the Testimony for life.

Once you are baptised you must have hands laid on you for receipt of the Holy Spirit. Without that your baptism is incomplete and invalid.

Sometimes in Islam baptism was referred to as colouring from the practice of colouring the water (cf. No. 083 above).

It is the first and crucial sacrament of the faith.

The second sacrament is the Lord’s Supper (No 103). This is covered under the Surah The Table Spread (Q005).

The three elements of the Lord’s Supper are the Footwashing (No. 099) and the Significance of The Bread and the Wine (No. 100). These are also comprising the Passover (No. 098) and also The Wave Sheaf Offering (No. 106B).

A person is not eligible to enter the service of the Temple or the Church of God until they are twenty-five years of age and they cannot teach until they are thirty years of age.

There are only two ranks of the faith and these are Deacon/Deaconess and Elder.

The Council of the Church is termed the Council of Elders in English and the Muhammad in Arabic. To be converted is to have achieved Muhammoudan status.

The Council is usually comprised of a dozen elders  who are also termed rasul.

No deacon or elder is permitted the title father or rabbi. These aspects are covered in the text of Introduction to the Commentary on the Koran (Q001).

The Holy Spirit

“The Holy Spirit (Acts 2:4) is that essence or power of God, which Christ promised to send to the elect (Jn. 16:7). It is not a person but the extension of the living power of God. It is the means whereby we become partakers of the divine nature (2Pet. 1:4), being filled with the Holy Spirit (Acts 9:17; Eph. 5:18) and hence all Sons of God (Job 1:6; 2:1; 38:7; Rom. 8:14; 1Jn. 3:1-2) and co-heirs with Christ (Rom. 8:17; Gal. 3:29; Titus 3:7; Heb. 1:14; 6:17; 11:9; Jas. 2:5; 1Pet. 3:7).

The Spirit is given by God to those who ask (Lk. 11:9-13) and obey Him, dwelling in those who keep God's commandments (1Jn. 3:24; Acts 5:32). The saints are those who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ (Rev. 12:17, 14:12).

From Job 38:7 there were sons of God before the foundation of the world. Jesus Christ was not the only son of God before the foundation of the world. There were many of them. He was not the only Morning Star before the foundation of the world – there were many of them.

Many are called but few are chosen because God gives the promise that if we ask Him He will give us His Holy Spirit. He has given His Holy Spirit to millions. Many have simply failed being called but not chosen. The terminology is they have gone like dogs to their own vomit and trampled on the Holy Spirit. Such people go back to the Second Resurrection.  But they are not held accountable because it was known that they would do that (see also the paper The Fallacy of the Third Resurrection (No. 166)). They were not foreordained; they were not predestined. The firstfruits of the Holy Spirit were not given to them according to Romans 8:23. They have been given the Spirit but cannot sustain the faith.

The Holy Spirit is the comforter that leads God's servants into all truth (Jn. 14:16,17,26) (see the paper Truth (No. 168)). Our capacity to understand all truth depends upon our relationship with God through the Holy Spirit. It’s only by developing our relationship with God through the Holy Spirit that we can understand the Bible, otherwise it is just words. Many people don’t understand it because their relationship with the Holy Spirit is not being developed. It is not just a question of power; and the Holy Spirit is a Spirit of power and it will be witnessed in us in the Last Days as a power, and of a sound mind, and of understanding of truth. To many people the Bible is just words because they are not obedient and growing in the Holy Spirit.

It’s only through the Holy Spirit that Peter could say what he did (cf. Mat 16:13-17). That is why Christ said to him, “Blessed are you Simon Bar-Jonah.” He understood it because the Holy Spirit had given it to him to understand. We cannot blame anybody who has not got God’s Spirit. It is that some people are not called and they are not given to understand. We should pray for them; we shouldn’t hold it against them.

The Gifts of the Holy Spirit

We are given the gifts and the power of the Holy Spirit (No. 117) and the Fruit of the Holy Spirit (No. 146) from our baptism and through its development into conversion.

“The gifts of the Holy Spirit are recorded in 1Corinthians 12:7-11 and the fruits are described in Galatians 5:22-23. They are not given by measure from John 3:34 (RSV) and Romans 12:6. It is the means by which God can finally become all in all from 1Corinthians 15:28 and Ephesians 4:6.  The gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit do not come through a ministry and they are not concentrated in a hierarchical structure. Some people have power of discernment of the spirit, of understanding, of interpretations, of teachings; some have healings; some have faith capable of moving mountains, more so than any people placed in administrative stations. That is something the Church has not understood in hierarchical government. Hierarchical government destroys the capacity to understand the operations of God.

Trinitarians assert that the Holy Spirit is a third person of a closed Godhead. That is false. That teaching is to limit the capacity of the Holy Spirit to extend to us, making us elohim or theoi.

The Holy Spirit operates from before baptism. The Spirit draws the elect to God through Christ (Heb. 7:25). The firstfruits of the Spirit are given to the individual at baptism from Romans 8:23, which clearly states that the adoption does not occur until the redemption of the body. Thus we are born again but continue to grow in the Spirit daily in Christ Jesus until we come into the glory of God. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth (1Jn. 4:6, 5:6) and, by speaking the Truth in all things, we grow into Christ, our head in all respects (Eph. 4:15). We do not have to speak all truth in all things. Sometimes it is polite not to speak all truth in all things; e.g. if we don’t like something about someone, we don’t necessarily have to tell them. We should keep some things to ourselves. They are, nevertheless, true but perhaps kindly not said. That is not lying by omission; it is good sense. There is a difference between lying by omission and being polite. If we say nothing when in fact we should have said something then we are lying, because we omitted to bear witness. We have hence born false witness by our silence. That is important. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God (Rom. 8:14) and the Spirit of faith (2Cor. 4:13), which searches all things and knows all things (1Cor. 2:10-11; 12:3ff.).

Thus the Holy Spirit is not an independent aspect of a triune God, but is the means by which we become elohim. We do not become Eloah. God was singular as Eloah. We become elohim or theoi through the Holy Spirit. That is a necessary distinction because people generally, as a result of Trinitarian indoctrination, do not understand that there is one God, Eloah, and that there is a family of elohim (see also the paper Psalm 8 (No. 014)). They think it’s blasphemy to say we will become elohim because they do not understand what elohim are. The Bible says we will become elohim (Zech. 12:8). The Spirit conveys to God an understanding of our thoughts and very being and in return gives us the attributes and nature of God Himself.

John 10:34-35 Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your law, I said, “You are gods”’? 35 If he called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken)…….

Being routed through Jesus Christ as our mediator and intermediary elohim, the Holy Spirit enables Christ to help, teach and comfort us and to enable us to exercise the power of God. The Spirit gives to each person the attributes God desires in order to benefit the body as outlined in 1Corinthians 12:7-11. God gives us all different aspects and puts us together for the benefit of all. God put every person in the elect with a particular strength that the others did not necessarily possess. We are all doing a job that we were given by God to do. We have been given people of varied gifts and talents and God does it for the greater glory of us all. The body benefits by the operation of each one of us, but we can quench the operation of the Spirit if we don’t pull our weight individually. We affect each other because we are all one body. So if we don’t pray, fast and work, we diminish our power and it is not the individual’s power, it is the power of Jesus Christ. It wasn’t Moses who sat there with his arms up; he had Aaron and Hur together holding his arms up. It’s not Christ who does this job on his own. It is all of us who are holding Christ’s arms up, who is the Moses to come. We have to work. If we don’t work, we don’t achieve as much as we could and fewer people are exposed to the truth. Thus more people are adversely affected and our job is harder in the Second Resurrection. More people are damaged and the whole work is made harder. The demons are also necessarily given a lighter sentence because we don’t work and not because of our mercy. If we ultimately fail, then the demons are completely justified. That’s what this battle is all about – for the justification of the demons because they have blasphemed the Holy Spirit.

The Spirit can be quenched (1Thes. 5:19) by being neglected or grieved (Eph. 4:30) and thus admits of gains and losses in the elect. So we can be given the Spirit, grow in it and then commence practices, or sins, which limit our capacity to deal with the concepts. These sins limit our capacity to grow, and as we sin we diminish and grieve the Spirit. The Spirit leaves us in sin. Each one of us has been allowed to go through those processes where we know that we have lost power in the Spirit because of what goes on in our mind.

The fruit of the Holy Spirit is love from Galatians 5:22. This is the major aspect of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, if we do not love each other the Holy Spirit is not evident. That is how the Holy Spirit manifests itself. Love is the fruit because it is God’s nature. It is a positive thing and it harms nothing. It comes from God’s nature. The elect have this love of other people and that becomes agape love.

From the paper Song of Songs (No145) we have seen that the Greeks did not and perhaps philosophically could not understand agape love. It wasn’t a Greek concept. They had erotic love and filial love. They could not understand the fraternal structures because agape is not a Greek concept. It comes from the Song of Songs. It is a transliteration of the Hebrew word ’ahab (awhab’). That is where they got agape. It is simply a transliteration. The Greeks do not understand it now in terms of their philosophy, because they rely on Platonist structures and neo-Platonist structures, and their religious system has difficulty with it because they rely on their philosophy to interpret the Bible.

The Spirit is the means by which we worship God as stated in Philippians 3:3. Thus it cannot be God as an object of worship and hence equal to God the Father. If the Spirit is the means by which we worship God the Father, how can it be the object of worship? That is a simple process of logic. The Holy Spirit cannot be the means of worshipping something and be that something in its own right. It can’t tie us to that something and be the means by which we achieve worship and interaction with something and be that being itself in a separate, equal and absolute sense as a person. It is logically absurd to suggest that to be the case. We have to be worshipping the means by which we are worshipping the object. It becomes the means and the object. The Holy Spirit is in fact a force which empowers Christ.

God makes Christ an everlasting Father (Isa. 9:6; cf. also the paper Isaiah 9:6 (No. 224)) of which there are many fatherhoods in heaven and on earth (Eph. 3:15). All of these fatherhoods or families are named for God the Father, which is the reason we bow before God the Father, worshipping Him (Eph. 3:14-15).” (cf. 117)

Fruits of the Spirit in Conversion

The Holy Spirit is conferred on baptism.  We are given a spirit of power and of love empowering us in the First and the Second Great Commandments with the Law of God (L1). On these two Great Commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

The other aspects of the Fruit of the Holy Spirit are given to us in Galatians.

Galatians 5:22-23  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness, self-control; against such there is no law. (RSV)

Galatians 5:22-23  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. (KJV)

Each of these aspects empower us all and we are able to move mountains in the faith,

A person who has not been baptised as a repentant adult, or at all, is unable to develop in the Holy Spirit and will never be converted. They will not enter the First Resurrection and will have to be retrained in the Second Resurrection. These people do not exhibit the gifts and power of the Spirit and cannot educate others in the faith as they do not understand it.

It is these people both in Binitarian and Trinitarian Christianity and in all branches of Islam that have misled the nations and corrupted the faith in all aspects over which they have had control. A clear sign of this corruption is prayer by rote as the pagans do. A major sign is prayer to other than the Father in the name of the Son.  Prayers to the Mother Goddess in cults of varying faiths, and to the Son and the saints is clear sign of a lack of conversion and an absence of the Holy Spirit and understanding of the faith (see Praying to Christ or Beings other than the Father (No. 111b)).

No person who prays to other than the Father will enter the First Resurrection being unconverted no matter what body they claim to be in. Such people claiming to be teachers or ministers or priests will not be allowed to remain and enter the millennial system unless they have repented and ceased their false doctrines. If they do not speak according to the Law and the Testimony there is no light in them (Isa. 8:20).

So also is False Prophecy (No. 269) a sign of a lack of conversion. The church has long standing teachings that it holds to be doctrine  but it must always accord with the Law and the Testimony for these are the Saints of the Body of Christ in the Churches of God (Rev. 12:17; 14:12).

Conversion is a way of life and thinking and an ability to use and be occupied in and by the Holy Spirit as a Son of God and to become elohim in the First Resurrection. It is written: I said ye are Gods and Scripture cannot be broken.
