Dear Friends,

Today we issue the third edition of the paper Introduction to the Commentary on the Koran (Q001).  It has some additions to the paper referring to other papers written after and explaining some aspects of the additions to the Introduction.

It is a long time since we studied the Introduction and it is a useful explanation of the terms and structure of the language used in the Koran and how it refers to Churches of God in the Middle East and should be of help in understanding why the Churches of God of the Twentieth Century had to be eliminated and removed from the structure and ultimately from the First Resurrection (No. 143A) and why the Lampstand had to be removed and why they had to be replaced (cf. The Lampstand in the Last Days (No. 170A)).

Prophecy was given detailing this event in Revelation chapter 3 but the churches simply will not listen and repent. God even told them what the name of the demarcation church of the Sardis system was through the apostle John 1920 years ago and still they did not get it. The demarcation church went on and named themselves the Living Church of God in accordance with Revelation 3:1 and still they did not wake up from the coma. In 1996, I was writing the work Role of the Fourth Commandment in the Sabbath-Keeping Churches of God (No. 170) for the Friends of the Sabbath Conference in Sydney that year. We could find no trace of any Church of God system that had allocated itself the name Living either as Living Church of God or any institution named Living anything. It was then that the Holy Spirit made it evident that it had not as yet been formed and the Sardis system in its major components had not as yet broken up and fully fragmented. That system did not name itself until 1997, UCG had been formed but it did not fragment into its major offshoots until a few years later. However, the demarcation church named itself “living” and that naming carried with it the major limitations and the sins of Self Righteousness and Respect of Persons that were endemic in its structure from the formation of its structure under the Idol Shepherd in 1941.

God is about to deal with the churches in the Middle East and also in Europe and the rest of the world. Islam will be brought to its knees along with Judaism and the Churches of God (cf. Christianity and Islam in the Covenant of God (No. 096C)). The false doctrines are about to be eradicated either under us of the Philadelphian system (cf. Pillars of Philadelphia (No. 283) or under the Wars of the End Part II: 1260 Days of the Witnesses (No. 141D).  By the time Messiah gets here it will be all too late and no one will be allowed into the Temple of God until after Armageddon and the Vials of the Wrath of God (No. 141E) are ended.  It is all that serious but they will not listen and repent. If they are that stiff necked and unteachable then they deserve the retraining they must be given in the Second Resurrection (No. 143B).

God will send you under His choosing by Predestination (No. 296) depending on your obedience and faith.  The earlier you repent and work the better it is for you on many grounds. Do not take unnecessary risks with your position and crown.
