Dear Friends,

Heaven, Hell and other Pagan Nonsense

Since the end of the Passover we have seen a series of religious errors and nonsense emerge from various quarters over a number of matters.  A shooting occurred in the US on what was claimed to be the last Holy Day of the Passover by Jews in the synagogue there.  The question then arises is, if they were attending a solemn assembly commanded by God, why were they not protected as God says he would protect them and their property? They were keeping the eight day Passover, so why were they not protected?  The answer is simple in that they were following the pagan Hillel Calendar of 358 CE and later that followed the Babylonian Intercalations and the postponements (see Hillel, Babylonian Intercalations and the Temple Calendar (No. 195C)). As a result the congregations were not under God’s protection as the Last Holy Day according to the Temple Calendar was on 25 April and the last two days kept by these Jews was outside of the period of God’s sworn protection.  Thus they were able to be attacked and killed.  So also are the Churches of God that keep Hillel not protected and are able to be attacked over those unprotected days. More attacks will follow until they are brought to repentance.

So also we saw a misguided Rugby great in AU, Israel Folau, declare that Sodomites would be punished and go to hell.  He was a Sunday worshipping, and Christmas and Easter Keeping Baal worshipper who thinks he is a Christian.  He sees and understands that sodomy is condemned by the Bible but so is worshipping under the Sun system and keeping Christmas and Easter and so his entire congregation should be there if there was such a thing as a place of eternal punishment.

Heaven and Hell was a doctrine of the Baal worshippers both in the Middle East and of Attis in Rome and Adonis in the East; and Mithras in the Army and the Middle East, and Osirus in Egypt.

Justin Martyr, an elder in Rome, ca 150 CE, said that: if one came across a person that said they were Christians and that when they died they went to heaven do not believe them, they were not [Christians] (Dial. With Trypho LXXX). Christians believed and the Bible taught then and now that there was a resurrection of the dead, both the First Resurrection at the return of the Messiah (cf. Heaven, Hell or the First Resurrection of the Dead (No. 143A) and then a Second Resurrection and Great White Throne Judgment (No. 143B) of all those of the sons of Adam who have ever lived at the end of the Millennium (cf. Rev. Ch. 20).

All of those who say they are Christians and keep Sundays , Christmas and Easter, and all those who say they are Muslims and fail to keep God’s Calendar (No. 156) and Surah 4:154; cf. also Sabbath in the Koran (No. 274)), will each go to the Second Resurrection for retraining as will all who ever lived and are not of the elect in the First Resurrection.

All sin is punishable by death except by forgiveness under God’s Grace on Repentance and Baptism (No. 052) and receipt of the Holy Spirit (No. 117).

Failure to keep the Law of God (L1) is sin (1Jn. 3:4) and the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23). Pray they are all brought to repentance.
