Sabbath 2/6/42/120

Dear Friends,

Today we will study the Law and the Covenant in the Koran and how that applies to the Law of God (L1) and the Covenant of God (No. 152).  We start with the Introduction to the Commentary on the Koran (Q001) and then proceed to the relevant papers concerning the various aspects of the Faith relating to the Law and the Testimony.  These aspects assist in the understanding of the Law and the Covenant and the attempt by the Antinomians in the destruction of the Law and the Covenant in both Christianity and Islam.  The position is also explained in the text Christianity and Islam in the Covenant of God (No. 096C).

When you come across people that say that they are Christians, or Muslims, and that the Law of God is done away, or replaced by Sharia Law, and that when they die they go to heaven, do not believe them. They are neither Christians nor Muslims, which are one and the same thing.

If anyone claims to be a member of the Churches of God and says that Christ is a coeternal God and that the New Moons do not have to be kept, and that the Hillel Calendar is applicable to them, do not believe them.  They are not members of the Churches of God (cf. Hillel, Babylonian Intercalations and the Temple Calendar (No. 195C)).  They are false teachers and are condemned to the Second Resurrection (No. 143B) until they repent and, depending on when they repent, they may be disqualified from the First Resurrection (No. 143A), and consigned to the physical millennial system.

These papers will also help us understand what the position on the Law and the Testimony is in the Koran.
The Sabbath in the Qur'an (No. 274)
Hebrew and Islamic Calendar Reconciled (No. 053)
The Juma'ah: Preparing for the Sabbath (No. 285)
The Koran on the Bible, the Law, and the Covenant (No. 083)
Christ and the Koran (No. 163)
First and Second Statements of the Covenant of God (No. 096B)
Antinomian Attacks on the Covenant of God (No. 096D)
Summary of the Commentary on the Qur'an or Koran (No. QS)

The other Antinomian attacks are as follows.
Antinomian Destruction of Christianity by Misuse of Scripture (No. 164C)
Antinomian Attacks on the Law of God (No. 164D)
Antinomian Denial of Baptism (No. 164E)
Heresy in the Apostolic Church (No. 089)

These people neither enter the Kingdom of God themselves and they prevent all who follow them from entering also.

Remember that we are preparing for the Coming of the Messiah and the preparation for the millennial system.  Do not be distracted by these false Christians and false Muslims and diverted from the faith.
