Sabbath 24/10/28/120

Dear Friends.

This Sabbath is what the Trinitarians call Christmas Eve. We are at the high point of the heathen rituals of the Saturnalia. You can see the details in the paper Origins of Christmas and Easter (No. 235). You should all by now have been making this paper available to as many as possible.

Many of us are forced by circumstances to take days off work at this time. Use the time to spend with the family and to teach the truth of this system. If you are forced to take time off, then do so in Godly humility and service of the One True God. Remember that our festivals are in accordance with the Bible festivals. We keep the commanded feasts of the Lord. These are Passover, Pentecost and Tabernacles. Many of us have to sacrifice to do that. Some of us have very limited time off work, especially in the US where the entire calendar is geared at forcing everyone into the heathen calendar and system of the sun cults. God is on the lips of the people at this time but their hearts are far from Him and on the matters of a false system.

Some Jehovah’s Witnesses confronted me this month. They do not keep Christmas, but they do nothing else that is required of them either. Their people wanted me to discuss the Bible with them. I said to them: “What is the point? You do not keep the Commandments of God.”

They said: “Why?”

I said: “You do not keep the Fourth Commandment.”

They said: “Oh, no we don’t. Can we tell you why?”

I said: “What is the point? God says through Isaiah at 8:20 that if you do not speak according to the Law and the Testimony there is no light in you. You say the Law is done away.”

They said: Well, yes.”

I said: “Jesus Christ gave the Law to Moses and he said not one jot or tittle would pass from the Law until heaven and earth pass away.”

The male said: “But that was not Jesus Christ, that was Jehovah God at Sinai.”

I said: “Christ said that no man has seen God ever. They have not heard his voice or seen his form” (Jn. 5:37 cf Jn. 1:18 and 1Jn. 5:20).

He then said: “It doesn’t say they have not heard His voice.”

I said: “Yes, it does. Paul also says, at 1Timothy 6:16 that no man has seen Him, nor ever can see Him. He dwells in unapproachable light. How then can the One True God have been seen by Moses and have given the Law to him? The Bible says that the Rock that was with Israel in the wilderness was Christ (1Cor, 10:1-4), and that was the teaching of the entire Church for the first two centuries, even at Rome. There are four Yahovahs at one time present in Genesis 18 and 19, speaking with Abraham, and with Lot at Sodom, and in heaven. The Yahovah at Sinai was the subordinate Yahovah of Psalm 45:6-7: ‘Therefore God thy God has anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy partners.’ Hebrews 1:8-9 identifies this deity as Christ.”

At this point the male became agitated and said: “Do you want to listen to our teachings on this or not?”

I said again: “What is the point? I have heard it all before many times. You don’t do what the Bible commands you to do. When you obey the Law of God and keep the Sabbaths of the Lord, then we will listen to what you have to say.”

They then left in a huff. A lot of their errors and attitudes are dealt with in the paper False Prophecy (No. 269).

That is the same with all the purported religious of the world. They always have a reason why they don’t actually have to do what the Bible says. They say: “Yes, it says that but we don’t have to do it because Paul says somewhere that it was all nailed to the cross” (misquoting Col. 2:16); or: “Every day is really the Sabbath, so we don’t have to do that”; or: “We decided to change it to Sunday and work on the Sabbath instead”; or: “We decided to keep Christmas and Easter because it is good for the children and if you don’t do that you deprive them.” Since when do the elect have to wait for a heathen festival to bless their children with the gifts of God and the earth?

The most vehement are the Trinitarians because they are out of their depth with the OT Bible texts. They have to deny the basis of the OT even though their foundation of common law in the English-speaking world is derived from or based on the premises within it.

It is always difficult dealing with the emphatic erroneous. It is true that if one wishes to be dogmatic, one has an obligation to be correct. Usually when people cannot defend their position in the religious world, they attack whoever it is that points out their error to them rather than correct their error. It is always the same.

My youngest son was being told how ridiculous the Bible legislation was recently by a person who was using the legislation regarding an ox goring a person at Exodus 21:28-32. It was held to be ridiculous legislation. My son reportedly replied: “Are you serious? If you had a dog and it killed a child, don’t tell me that the police would not kill the dog, and charge you and you would not face prison. Where do you think that legislation came from? It is based on the principles in that same Bible section. Most of our common law comes from the principles of the Bible legislation.”

People often say silly things when they want to put down a text, or use one text to deny the entire work when it is really another principle they wish to attack but cannot do so. Often they embrace strange positions because they do not want to change their lifestyles. People want to embrace pagan or heathen customs because they follow those principles in their daily lives and are not part of the faith. Most of the people in the world, who claim to be Christians, are not Christians. Most deny the resurrection of the dead at the end of the age and the return of Messiah, and embrace the immortal soul doctrine. They are Gnostics embracing Gnostic syncretic theology from the mystery cults. They came into Christianity in the first century and they managed to fuse the systems together so they did not have to obey God. They do not obey God and fear and hate anyone else who does obey God.

We are all sinners. What makes us different is the fact that we acknowledge that the Law of God has to be kept, and admit we have a struggle to do that and often fall short of the glory of God. They don’t even try. That is what sets us apart from them and why they hate the Bible doctrines and any who espouse them.

In this time of carousing and fake Christianity, keep your minds on the goal ahead and the promise of God to inherit the Kingdom of God, and that such Kingdom is within us through the Holy Spirit.

You can’t say: “God bless you” and “Merry Christmas” in the same context. How long will we be of two minds? If Baal is God then serve him. But if Yahovah is God, then serve Him, and do it properly and loyally.
