In this message we will examine the problems that are emerging in religion today
that threaten the very freedoms of the societies in which we live.
It was taken for granted a few decades ago that the Communist systems were totally repressive and the West saw itself as the guardian of freedom and liberty.
With the fall of communism the West was lulled into a false sense of security. Indeed, there never was a time when freedom and liberty were protected by the West. It merely appeared that way in the political rhetoric of the times.
The United States and British Commonwealth went through a process that guaranteed the basic common law rights of their people. Firstly the barons forced the freedoms for the elite under the Magna Carta or Great Charta signed by King John at Runnymede in 1215. Effectively this act established what we came to know as Habeas Corpus and also the right of trial by peers. Then slowly the individuals of the Commonwealth fought for and won their rights of freedom under the law. Firstly, it was from the British Civil War and then secondly, from the US War of Independence and then its Civil War. However, what the founding fathers of the US envisaged and what has happened are far cries from one another.
At the time of the framing of the US Constitution it was envisaged that all men would espouse reason. Indeed, the framers of the Constitution saw an enlightened Unitarian theology as being the achievable goal of the US society. Instead what happened was that, as strange as it may seem, as the society became more affluent the mass became less educated and less diligent in the pursuit of a just society. The great minds of the British intelligentsia like Hume and Newton, as well as the academics like Whiston and the foreign thinkers like Grotius, were pushed aside and the Trinitarian European Christianity, based on paganism and Gnostic theology became more espoused.
What followed was a system of belief that was Gnostic in its structure. It would not have been recognised as Christian in the first two centuries of the Church in Europe. The system of belief it espouses is perhaps the most dangerous system of belief on the planet. It is matched only by that of the Vatican with its similar system of end time theology, that sees the world finishing at the return of Messiah instead of going on under the rule of Christ and the Church for the next thousand years after his return. The Roman Catholic system is based on a lie. That lie is that the Church is the representative of God as ruler of the planet and it rules now in the place of Christ and God. The Pope is held to be the vicar of Christ on earth. The Bible is quite clear that Satan is the god of this world (2Cor 4:4). The Bible tells us quite clearly that when Christ comes again, he will establish his rule on earth for a thousand years with the resurrected saints. After that thousand year rule the General Resurrection of the Dead will occur (This is covered in the papers The Resurrection of the Dead (No. 143), and The Outline Timetable of the Bible (No. 272). The last pope John Paul II was stated by the Roman system as being in heaven.
This false doctrine is correctly seen by ancient and true Christianity as a godless and blasphemous doctrine. In the second century in the church in Rome Justin Martyr said, that when you came across people who said that they were Christians and that when they died they went to heaven, do not believe them. They were not Christians. On no other point was the identification of a true Christian more clearly defined. Those who said that when they died they went to heaven showed thereby that they were not Christians but Gnostic heretics masquerading as Christians. The entire Roman Catholic curial system would have been removed from the Church in Rome in the first two centuries as godless and blasphemous heretics. True Christians believed in the resurrection of the dead and their placement with Christ at Jerusalem on his return.
Strange as it may seem, the most prolific source of this blasphemous doctrine,
aside from the Roman Catholic system, is the Baptist system of the United States
of America. Following the false theology of the Baptist system in the UK that
was exported to them in the eighteenth century, they have turned it into a very
dangerous political rationale.
Intelligent thinkers in the US are now calling them Rapture Nuts from the false
theology they espouse regarding an alleged rapture that will be experienced
by the followers of their particular system at the return of Christ.
The theory of the Rapture is a false idea generated from a church in the eighteenth century in the UK and was developed further in the nineteenth century by opportunist preachers in the US. It came from the hysterical ravings of a young woman of the time and has been developed by even greater ravings since then, particularly in the US. It is examined in the paper The Millennium and the Rapture (No. 95). Basically it teaches that those of the Church will be “raptured” or snatched up and taken to heaven when Jesus Christ returns. The earth will be destroyed and all those not of the body of the Church will be left on earth and destroyed along with the earth and then placed in “hell”. This insidious heresy found its way into the Adventist movement in the writings of the false prophetess Ellen G White.
This false structure sees Christ as returning to earth after a series of activities take place.
This strange and twisted version of what is to happen at the return of the Messiah seems to be the guiding theological and political motivation of the religious hard-core in the US that we have come to term Rapture Nuts. It is a complete misrepresentation of what the Bible says is to happen.
So what makes this false belief so dangerous? The answer is that it generates a self-righteous mindset that instils in the mind of those who believe it a view that the earth is going to be destroyed. They will be protected from that destruction and taken away to “heaven” as spirit beings.
They are thus then committed also to infant baptism as they must, in that vein, give their children a way out of the mess they carelessly create.
Instead of teaching the doctrine of repentance and of the care of the planet and the proper restoration under Christ, they teach a form of escapism based on the Gnostic theology of heaven and hell. That hell is seen as a place of eternal punishment instead of the biblical grave where all mankind await the Resurrection in turn.
Thus, their political direction is indifferent to the destruction of the planet. Their use of resources is indifferent to pollution. Their political system is exclusivist. They are intolerant of other religions. Their system, being based on lies, is also founded on the political racism of the early white slavery movements such as the Ku Klux Clan.
They are thus a danger to anyone espousing the Bible doctrines and to anyone in disagreement with their white supremacist Gnostic theories.
In effect, what has happened is that the Gnostic doctrines of Alexandria and Syria, of the time of Christ, have entered the Christian system to such an extent that the doctrines of the Triune god and the sun-worshipping systems of Baal and of the Gnostics have taken over Christianity. This parasite form of theology, which has nothing to do with the biblical doctrines, passes itself off as Christian in the major Trinitarian Christian structures. Through clever mishandling of the Bible structure by the Roman system, the false teachings have permeated the backwaters of the ignorant and uneducated in the USA as well. The result is that ignorance is everywhere, and everywhere dangerous.
Thus, the US is now completely unequipped to deal with the ethical crises that are emerging through its unregulated and rapacious capitalism that has become a form of imperialism unequalled in history. The US is not only now a capitalist state that is bent on world domination through its unethical use of the market economy and by its neo-colonialist economic exploitation of world markets, it is also bent on the corporate rape of space through technological advantage.
Other nations are now calling in to question the UN sanction of the nuclear club that seeks to prevent the use of nuclear technology by other world states. The nuclear nations that comprise the permanent members of the UN Security Council are a very dangerous and self-serving group. Coupled with that problem, we have a UN system that is seeking to establish a system of law and control based on the European and Napoleonic model that has none of the real safeguards present in the British Common Law system.
It is getting to such an extent now that people are being imprisoned without trial, and the immigration systems are being used not only to imprison without trial but also to deport without identification. Two Australian citizens have been deported from Australia in the last twelve months in spite of being citizens and having committed no crime. The last one was suffering from head injuries and, in that confused state, was deported to the Philippines without proper investigation. Her young family was left without their mother. She was sent to a hostel in the Philippines. Yet, they did not even ask the Philippines to look for her there when told of the error. They told them nothing.
When the British Commonwealth and the US masses wake up to what has been done to them and their system of law, it will be a case of being too late to avert the major damage that is being done to their systems of government and human freedom. Their bureaucrats are in fact trying to undermine their system to establish the European model and to do away with the basic freedoms inherent in our society. The tragedy is that these simple-minded cretins think that they will get to play a part in the New World Order as it emerges. They will do that but, only in so far as it is convenient to the corporate elite and, then they will be enslaved with the people they betrayed.
What is almost beyond belief is that there are people in positions of power and influence in the US who are deliberately attacking the judicial authority of the Supreme Court of the US. The judges are being attacked as liberals and dangerous, in spite of the fact that they were appointed under Republican administrations. It simply baffles the outside observers. The polarisation of the political system in the US using the religious system that has its power base in an uninformed Rapturist Trinitarian theology, is a tragedy of misinformation and intolerance that would simply confound the framers of the US Constitution.
It serves the purpose of these uninformed bigots to precipitate a war with Islam. Buddhism is jellyfish that will follow in the wake of whatever is created. It has no god and no finite rules. Only the Bible and Islam constitute a real threat to the New World Order. They have to be eliminated first.
To this end, European Trinitarianism is working together with the Masonic based Baptist system in the US. The illusion is that they are in opposition when, in fact, they are both controlled by the same monster. That monster wants to enslave the world and it will be given the chance to achieve that aim.
What is happening in the US is that the media is being controlled by bigger and more powerful organisations. Instead of creating a fearless and powerful watchdog for the community, it has created a paper tiger that conceals the truth from its audiences. There is a terrible dichotomy emerging now between capable journalists and media that will not allow them to expose anything of significance. Journalists are in the business of exposing the truth that people don’t want them to expose and who have taken great pains to hide in the first place.
Neither the corporate sector nor the government want the truth exposed. Thus, the corporate sector and the government work together to prevent exposure, and the more oligarchic the media, the less exposure there will be. One is simply staggered by the amount of lies told to the parliaments of the Commonwealth and the US by people who think that it is okay to mislead the Parliament. There seem to be more liars in the administration than on the streets.
A journalist by the name of Bill Moyers in the USA has aired some of the serious problems facing journalism in his address to the Society of Professional Journalists at New York City on September 11, 2004. It was entitled Journalism under Fire. That story will show the casual observer the serious problems in the unscrupulous world of corporate misrepresentation that is now endemic in the US and in the capitalist systems now on a worldwide basis.
The increasing nemesis of the corporate structure is destroying the basic freedoms of information and informed decision-making on the planet. What is unthinkable is that it is occurring from within the US and British Commonwealth, and not only from the Communist and what we have come to associate with the systems in Europe.
We must understand that there is an attack on Habeas Corpus such that people are being able to be imprisoned without trial for unlimited periods, and sent mad through improper handling and torture. It is happening now in our time, in our societies and we think it is justified. Our ethics have become corrupted and the ends are held to justify the means.
What is very serious is that the religious right is indifferent to truth and to ethical behaviour. Like the mindless mullahs of pseudo-Islam, they have become equally mindless mullahs of Western Trinitarianism.
There is a war coming and it is due to the manipulation of the religious Trinitarian structure of the West, and the manipulation of the so-called fundamentalism of the mullahs in the East.
Instead of being in a strong position, the West is very exposed and vulnerable. The position in Iraq is serious. The insurgency is stronger than it was a year ago. Iran is being placed under pressure. Syria is also under pressure. The US coalition is dependent upon Turkey to consolidate its lines of withdrawal. The Middle East is being goaded into the position where the king of the south will now push at the king of the north for this last phase.
In the end, the Middle East will be taken over but not before great damage is done.
The economic reorganisation of the world is underway using this dreadful economic beast that has been created and is now able to override national systems, and boundaries and alliances.
In spite of the obvious urgency and the seriousness of the problem, the Churches of God are dumb dogs. Many are not even able to recognise fact from fiction, or ethics and ideology from propaganda and tyranny.
As you know, we have just gone through the Sabbatical year ministerial re-credentialing system. EVERY minister of CCG, in every registered national conference, had to be re-credentialed. Every registered voting Church went through the electoral process and the Sabbatical reorganisation of our Church. What was fascinating was that even after that process under our Constitution CCG was attacked as some kind of cult organisation by people in the other Churches of God. They themselves have never seen an election and have never had a say in the selection of their ministry. They themselves have never defended their organisations and, in fact, were a spineless party to the theft of their own systems by an unscrupulous ministry. Some CCG people simply let them do it to us. Be advised that if we hear of anyone slandering CCG and we have witnesses, we will put legal hooks in the jaws of the slanderers and drag them into the courts of the USA, or the nations in which the slander occurs, and we will expose them and seek redress at law. The Churches of God are not places where unethical behaviour and slander are allowed to wander free of redress. Every man is the head of his own family, and God will require him to deal with the members of it and give an account of what he did within that family. He is accountable to Christ, and Christ is accountable to God in that process.
The world system is only free because it is defended by those who love truth. That freedom starts with the individual and their sense of obligation to the truth. Their first loyalty is to the truth of God, as given to us through His servants the prophets. The individual is supported by, and is the cornerstone of his own family. The family is the building block of the community, whether it is the church, or the neighbourhood and the society. The state supports the nation and the nations are responsible to God under their leaders.
In the not too distant future the time will come when no one can work, but that is not now. We have a task to do and we are obliged to do that task. Defend your brethren, defend the Church, and defend the faith. Defend the truth as only the truth will set us free.
