Summary:

The Eternal Kingdom of God

(Edition 2.1 19951124-20001021)

This paper deals with the final outcome and objective of the plan of salvation. The movement of God to this planetary system necessitates the reordering of the administrative structure of the universe.

The Kingdom of God

The purpose of the Kingdom of God is to put this world and universe back to where it was before the rebellion of the host.

We are at the end of the 6,000 years of Satan’s power. The next phase will be 1,000 years of the millennium.

The millennial structure is a specific period of rest, which is the process of an ongoing work for the priesthood. The millennium is not a rest in the sense that work stops. That’s when our work starts.

The Sabbath rest is not a rest from activity. It is a rest from labour. More work was done by the priesthood on the Sabbath, than at any time during the week.

During the millennium the priesthood prepare the planet for the worship of God. Jesus Christ will destroy everything that is in opposition to the will of God. This period is the thousand years of just rule. He then hands it back to God (1Cor. 15:24-25).

There will be no more death (1Cor. 15:26). We are granted eternal life (immortality) from God who grants all life. We will all be alive as spirits and have existence that is continuous. The elect receive this life from the First Resurrection but all mankind receive it from the Second Resurrection.

God put all things under Christ. That does not mean Himself. God did not place Christ over Himself but over all of creation (1Cor. 15:27).

The Son is subject to the Father, so Christ is not equal to the Father (1Cor. 15:28). The Holy Spirit is the means by which Christ achieves power and authority and is one with God. Christ did not create the Holy Spirit. We are co-heirs with Jesus Christ to the power of God. The Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father only and gives power to all of the sons of God.

When the Kingdom is handed over to God He will come here and transfer the administration of the universe here. Eventually the whole earth will be full of His glory (Isa. 6:3). God and the Lamb will be the lights of the system (Rev. 21:23).

The administrative structure will be from Jerusalem, but it will be a new heaven and a new earth (Isa. 65:17-18). There will be two destructions of the planet by human activity. The first destruction will occur at the end of this age prior to the beginning of the Millennium. The next war and destruction after that will be at the end of the Millennial system. In the re-creation under the New Jerusalem the seas will be removed (Rev. 21:1). The creation will be destroyed by fire and every trace of human habitation will be removed.

The New Moons, the Sabbaths and the Feasts remain as commanded times of worship throughout the entire structure (Isa. 66:22-23).

The heavenly and earthly Hosts are united. The City of God comes down from heaven and we form the temple, which sits in the city of God (Rev. 21:2-5). The whole of the City of God is a spiritual edifice. It is a place where God lives in us and we in the City of God are surrounded by and equal to the angels. We all form the bricks of the City of God (cf. the paper The City of God (No. 180)). God is in every one of us and we will become as elohim (Zech. 12:8).

The Spirit flows out as a river to the city and the whole city is watered from the temple, which is God. We are all prepared to marry Jesus Christ to take us into that system. We are all going to be the bride of Christ and sons of God. Jesus Christ will create new rules and new authority.

The entire human race will be under that system. We will be on an equal basis with the spiritual host. We will have access to human history and the mysteries of God, which we will understand.

God simply takes away all anguish and pain. The whole concept of death and frailty and weakness are simply removed (Rev. 21:4). Everybody will be mentally and physically well. It is not God’s plan that this planet be destroyed.

God is the Alpha and Omega (Rev. 21:6). No God was before Him and no God is after Him. He alone is the One True God from John 17:3.

We will all become sons of God in power from our resurrection from the dead (Rev. 21:7). In the same way Jesus Christ became a Son of God in power, from his resurrection from the dead (Rom. 1:4). God made Jesus Christ as the beginning of the creation and the end of it and the end result of it (Col. 1:16).

God is the beginning (Alpha) and He created Christ and the elohim and the Host and everything else. By His will all things exist and were created (Rev. 4:11). Also, He is the Omega in the sense that through the Holy Spirit He will become all in all.

If we don’t overcome sin in the first and second resurrections we face the second death (Rev. 21:8).

The twelve gates are the names of the twelve tribes of Israel, and the judges of the twelve tribes are the foundations of the city (Rev. 21:12-14). The judges are not put above but below the apostles, so that they can stand on them. Israel stands on the twelve apostles as foundations.

Humans replace the fallen host and take up these positions in the city. We form part of that city and the heavenly Host form the rest of it.

We formed the temple as a spiritual edifice, so there was no temple in the city. We then cease to be the inner temple, but become the city of New Jerusalem. It becomes all of the sons of God. God and Christ becomes the centre of it. The Holy Spirit operates in everybody throughout the city. Instead of being a separate building in the city, the leaders of the whole city are actually the repository for the Spirit of God.

We go from being the temple to being the city and are integrated into a bigger structure. God fills the vacuum and takes up and becomes all in all. Hence we end up with a process of an inner hub tying the whole city together. God is the city because He is in us through the Holy Spirit.

The nations are brought into spiritual capacity and into the city. The gentiles inherit the Kingdom of God through New Jerusalem. The gates of the city are the pearls of the wisdom of the gospel of the Kingdom of God as administered through the twelve apostles. They are not physical pearls, it is entirely spiritual (Rev. 21:24-27).

God is reconciled to us and the elect share the administration. Christ is seated in the throne room and we share in that throne, responsibility and authority (Rev. 22:1-21).

We sit on Jesus Christ’s throne as he sits on God’s throne, thus God becomes all and we all share that one administrative responsibility (Rev. 3:21-22). The archangels will be integrated with the apostles who themselves will become archangels. We will have responsibility in the millennium, in the resurrection, and then when we are finally reconciled in the Host. There are three levels as spiritual beings. That then goes on into the universe.

The Millennium is the time when we correct humanity and judge the fallen Host. It is a period of the Day of the Lord. The Day of the Lord lasts for a thousand years. Peter said a day is but a thousand years unto the Lord (2Pet. 3:8). It ends in the resurrection of the dead, which lasts one hundred years.

The Day of the Lord covers the establishment of the Kingdom, the rule of the Millennium, the resurrection of the dead and then the reconciliation. It is extended over one thousand years of just rule. The thousand years is only a teaching tool. Our destiny is to rule the stars and recreate the administrative structure and deal with the universe in a new order. This concept is one of the earth, all the work of God’s hands, being placed under mankind (Ps 8:6-9) (see the paper The Day of the Lord and the Last Days (No. 192)).

This is a training school. We are being trained for something. When we see God face to face we will begin to understand what we are to do. The whole function is summarised in Revelation 22:6-15.

An angel delivers us a message in the last days immediately before the coming of the Messiah. (Rev. 22:6).

The words were not sealed up in this book as the time was near. They were meant to be understood (Rev. 22:10-11).

Jesus Christ identifies himself as the angel who brought the message (Rev. 22:16-20).
