Commentary on the Koran: Surah 32 “The
Prostration”
Pickthall Translation; ESV used
unless otherwise noted.
Introduction
This Surah is a direct reference to
the Revelations of the One True God in Scripture. It contains thirty Ayat or
verses which is symbolic of prophecy. The Hadithic heretics, despite the clear
texts, seek to confine the term for Scriptures to the Koran or Qur’an only and
do not understand their heresy and the punishment that awaits them. This was
given to them in the Middle group of Beccan Surahs and they continued to deny
and persecute the faith.
We will see how the Scriptures relate
to the texts here.
32.1. Alif. Lam. Mim
John 17:3 And this is eternal life, that they know you the only true God, and
Jesus Christ whom you have sent.
1John 5:20 And we know
that the Son of God has come, and He has given to us an understanding
that we may know Him who is true, and we are in Him who is True, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God
and the life everlasting. (LITV)
Daniel 2:22 he reveals deep and hidden things; he knows
what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with him.
Job 28:24 For he looks to the ends of the earth and
sees everything under the heavens.
There is only One True God and the
faith and the Body of Christ serve Him who is true, namely the One True God
Eloah.
The revelation of Scripture and the Plan
of Salvation are from the One True God from the beginning and the Koran is
commentary on that Scripture.
32.2. The revelation of the Scripture whereof there is no doubt is from the
Lord of the Worlds.
Refer to 2Timothy 3:16 at ayat 20.6 Commentary
on the Koran: Surah 20 (No. Q020) and 2Peter
1:21 at ayat 21.15
Commentary on
the Koran: Surah 21 (No. Q021).
The warning of the faith came to them
through the prophets from A’ad and Thanmud to Moses and Midian and thus they
had to be destroyed because they refused to listen, as we see in the Surahs
above to S15. Then they failed to heed the prophets and the apostles from
Christ and to Luke and the churches from Antioch and into Asia Minor. Then the
idolaters of Becca and Arabia generally were sent Qasim and the church there
and they again refused to listen. In these last days we are sent to them and
they have one last chance. They will repent or die.
32.3. Or say they: He hath invented it? Nay, but it is the Truth from
thy Lord, that thou mayst warn a folk to whom no warner came before thee, that
haply they may walk aright.
Psalm 119:160 The sum of your word is truth, and every one
of your righteous rules endures forever.
Psalm 19:7 The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the
LORD is sure, making wise the simple;
Romans 7:12 So the law is holy, and the commandment is holy and
righteous and good.
Ezekiel 3:17-19 “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of
Israel. Whenever you hear a word from my mouth, you shall give them warning
from me. 18If I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ and you
give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, in order
to save his life, that wicked person shall die for his iniquity, but his blood
I will require at your hand. 19But if you warn the wicked, and he
does not turn from his wickedness, or from his wicked way, he shall die for his
iniquity, but you will have delivered your soul.
Jeremiah 26:3 It may be they will listen, and every one
turn from his evil way, that I may relent of the disaster that I intend to do
to them because of their evil deeds.
Jeremiah 26:12-13 Then Jeremiah spoke to all the officials and all the people, saying,
"The LORD sent me to prophesy against this house and this city all the
words you have heard. 13Now therefore mend your ways and your deeds,
and obey the voice of the LORD your God, and the LORD will relent of the
disaster that he has pronounced against you.
32.4. Allah it is Who created the heavens and the earth, and that which is
between them, in six Days. Then He mounted the Throne. Ye have not, beside Him,
a protecting friend or mediator. Will ye not then remember?
Thus God is in control and He
appoints whom He will as mediators or intercessors. The idols of Becca and
those whom they create have no part in the plans of God except as directed by
God.
Exodus 20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and
earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day.
Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.
1Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and there is one
mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,
32.5. He directeth the ordinance from the heaven unto the earth; then
it ascendeth unto Him in a Day, whereof the measure is a thousand years of that
ye reckon.
The week is the measure of the
creation of God and the Sabbath day is bound to the Covenant by the prophets as
we see in Surah 4.154 above and the Sabbath rest of Christ is a thousand years
which is the distance between the First and the Second Resurrection. This text
refers to the place of time in prophecy and refers to the texts of Scripture in
the Plan of Salvation.
Psalm 103:19 The LORD has established his throne in the
heavens, and his kingdom rules over all.
Psalm 90:4 For a thousand years in your sight are but as yesterday when it is past,
or as a watch in the night.
2Peter 3:8 But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day
is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
Isaiah 55:10-11 For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return
there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the
sower and bread to the eater, 11so shall my word be that goes out
from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that
which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.
32.6. Such is the Knower of the Invisible and the Visible, the Mighty, the
Merciful,
Jude 1:25 To the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory,
majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.
Luke 8:17 For nothing is hidden that will not be made manifest, nor is anything
secret that will not be known and come to light.
Daniel 2:22 he reveals
deep and hidden things; he knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells
with him.
Deuteronomy 4:31 For the LORD your God is a merciful God. He will not leave you or
destroy you or forget the covenant with your fathers that he swore to them.
32.7. Who made all things good which He created, and He began the
creation of man from clay;
32.8. Then He made his seed from a draught of despised fluid;
32.9. Then He fashioned him and breathed into him of His Spirit; and
appointed for you hearing and sight and hearts. Small thanks give ye!
Genesis 1:31 And God saw everything that he had made, and
behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the
sixth day.
Genesis 2:7 Then the LORD God formed the man of dust from the
ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a
living creature.
Job 10:10-12 Did you not pour
me out like milk and curdle me like cheese? 11You clothed me with skin and flesh, and knit
me together with bones and sinews. 12You have granted me life
and steadfast love, and your care has preserved my spirit.
Proverbs 20:12 The hearing ear and the seeing eye, the LORD has made them both.
Romans 1:21 For although they knew God, they did not honor him
as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and
their foolish hearts were darkened.
The following text is clear direction
that there will be a resurrection of all mankind but that God will fill the
grave of Hades or the pit of Sheol with both the demons and mankind and from
there they will be resurrected and judged.
32.10. And they say: When we are lost in the earth, how can we then be
re-created? Nay but they are disbelievers in the meeting with their Lord.
32.11. Say: The angel of death, who hath charge concerning you, will gather
you, and afterward unto your Lord ye will be returned.
32.12. Couldst thou but see when the guilty hang their heads before their
Lord, (and say): Our Lord! We have now seen and heard, so send us back; we will
do right, now we are sure.
32.13. And if We had so willed, We could have given every soul its guidance,
but the word from Me concerning evildoers took effect: that I will fill hell
with the jinn and mankind together.
32.14. So taste (the evil of your deeds). Forasmuch as ye forgot the meeting
of this your day, lo! We forget you. Taste the doom of immortality because of
what ye used to do.
Note also that the demons failed in
their responsibility along with humanity in educating all mankind and for that
they are killed and remain until the Second Resurrection. These texts are taken
directly from Scripture in the texts of Isaiah chapter 14 and Ezekiel chapters
28 etc. and Revelation chapter 20. See also Job etc. below.
Refer to John 5:28-29 at ayat 21.47 Commentary on the
Koran: Surah 21 (No. Q021).
See
Isaiah 26:19 at ayat 19.71 Commentary on the
Koran: Surah 19 (No. Q019).
Job 34:20 In a moment they die; at midnight the people are shaken and pass away, and the mighty are taken away by no human hand.
Ecclesiastes 12:7 and the dust returns to the earth as it was,
and the spirit returns to God who gave it.
Job 34:14-15 If he should set his heart to it and gather to himself his spirit and
his breath, 15all flesh would perish together, and man would return
to dust.
Romans 2:6 He will render to each one according to his works:
Romans 9:18 So then he has mercy on whomever he wills, and he hardens whomever he
wills.
Read also Revelation 20:11-15 as quoted at ayat 17.15 Commentary on the
Koran: Surah 17 (No. Q017).
These are the elect who follow the
Faith and the Testimony and keep the Commandments of God (Rev. 12:17;
14:12). They are those of verses 15 and
16.
32.15. Only those believe in Our revelations who, when they are reminded of
them, fall down prostrate and hymn the praise of their Lord, and they are not
scornful,
32.16. Who forsake their beds to cry unto their Lord in fear and hope, and
spend of that We have bestowed on them.
Malachi 3:16 then those who feared the LORD spoke with one
another. The LORD paid attention and heard them, and a book of remembrance was
written before him of those who feared the LORD and esteemed his name.
Psalm 33:18 Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear him, on those who hope
in his steadfast love,
Romans 12:1-2 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the
mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and
acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. 2Do not be
conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that
by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable
and perfect.
Micah 6:8 He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of
you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?
1Peter 4:10 As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good
stewards of God's varied grace:
32.17. No soul knoweth what is kept hid for them of joy, as a reward
for what they used to do.
This text is a direct quote from 1Corinthians
2:9.
1Corinthians 2:9 But, as it is written, "What no eye has
seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for
those who love him"—
1Peter 1:4 to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled,
and unfading, kept in heaven for you,
32.18. Is he who is a believer like
unto him who is an evil-liver? They are not alike.
2Corinthians 6:14 Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers.
For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has
light with darkness?
1John 1:6 If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie
and do not practice the truth.
32.19. But as for those who believe and do good works, for them are the
Gardens of Retreat - a welcome (in reward) for what they used to do.
The First Resurrection is for the
Elect and then the final Garden for those who survive the Second Resurrection.
Refer to Revelation 20:4-6 at ayat 18.31 Commentary on the
Koran: Surah 18 (No. Q018).
Romans 2:6-7 He will render to each one according to his works: 7to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life;
Daniel 7:18 But the saints of the Most High shall receive the
kingdom and possess the kingdom forever, forever and ever.’
Those who refuse to obey God and
continue to do evil after the Second Resurrection will die and be cast into the
Lake of Fire.
32.20. And as for those who do evil, their retreat is the Fire.
Whenever they desire to issue forth from thence, they are brought back thither.
Unto them it is said: Taste the torment of the Fire which ye used to deny.
32.21. And verily We make them taste the lower punishment before the greater,
that haply they may return.
The lower punishment refers to the punishments
of the earthly life; these are the result of disobedience to God’s Law.
Leviticus chapter 26 verses 14 to 39 lists some of these punishments. Another
account is given in Deuteronomy chapter 28 verses 15 to 68.
Refer to 2Peter 3:9 at ayat 20.129 Commentary on the
Koran: Surah 20 (No. Q020).
Read also Revelation 20:11-15 as quoted at ayat 17.15 Commentary on the
Koran: Surah 17 (No. Q017).
32.22. And who doth greater wrong than he who is reminded of the revelations
of his Lord, then turneth from them. Lo! We shall requite the guilty.
2Peter 2:21 For it would have been better for them never
to have known the way of righteousness than after knowing it to turn back from
the holy commandment delivered to them.
Ezekiel 18:24 But when a righteous person turns away from his
righteousness and does injustice and does the same abominations that the wicked
person does, shall he live? None of the righteous deeds that he has done shall
be remembered; for the treachery of which he is guilty and the sin he has
committed, for them he shall die.
Here we see the direct reference to
the Scriptures as being the texts given to Moses and the prophets.
32.23. We verily gave Moses the
Scripture; so be not ye in doubt of his receiving it; and We appointed it a
guidance for the Children of Israel.
John 1:17 For the law was given through Moses; grace
and truth came through Jesus Christ.
See Deuteronomy 29:29 at ayat 21.15 Commentary on the
Koran: Surah 21 (No. Q021).
Who would dare to say the Scriptures
have been lost, but an infidel?
32.24. And when they became steadfast and believed firmly in Our revelations,
We appointed from among them leaders who guided by Our command.
This text refers to the Councils of
the Muhammad or the Churches of God that keep the Laws and the Testimony. These
of the 72 comprise the 144,000 who lead the Great Multitude of the elect (cf.
Rev. ch. 7)
Exodus 18:25 Moses chose able men out of all Israel and
made them heads over the people, chiefs of thousands, of hundreds, of fifties,
and of tens.
Numbers 11:16 Then the LORD said to Moses, "Gather for me seventy men of the
elders of Israel, whom you know to be the elders of the people and officers
over them, and bring them to the tent of meeting, and let them take their stand
there with you.
32.25. Lo! thy Lord will judge
between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that wherein they used to
differ.
Each one of these heretics and
infidels will be dealt with on the Day of Judgment in the Second Resurrection. They
will not be allowed to compromise the Millennium under Christ and the prophets
and the elect of God. None will ever enter any heaven they proclaim.
Read Revelation 20:11-15 as quoted at ayat 17.15 Commentary on the
Koran: Surah 17 (No. Q017).
Look at how many we destroyed before
them and they still refuse to understand.
32.26. Is it not a guidance for them (to observe) how many generations We
destroyed before them, amid whose dwelling places they do walk? Lo! therein
verily are portents! Will they not then heed?
Joshua 24:13 I gave you a land on which you had not
labored and cities that you had not built, and you dwell in them. You eat the
fruit of vineyards and olive orchards that you did not plant.
Throughout history there have been
many generations that had been destroyed because they did not heed the warnings
of messengers sent to them. Those who refuse to learn lessons from history will
end up reaping the consequences of their disobedience. Their civilisations will
be destroyed for the millennial system under Messiah, and the Arabian Prophet
and church will destroy the unrepentant Arabs as will the elect destroy all the Sun
and Mystery cults.
Refer to 1Corinthians 10:11 at ayat 17.41
Commentary on
the Koran: Surah 17 (No. Q017).
In recorded human history are examples for men of understanding who choose to
reflect on events gone by.
32.27. Have they not seen how We lead the water to the barren land and
therewith bring forth crops whereof their cattle eat, and they themselves? Will
they not then see?
Psalm 104:13-15 From your lofty abode you water the mountains; the earth is satisfied
with the fruit of your work. 14You cause the grass to grow for the
livestock and plants for man to cultivate, that he may bring forth food from
the earth 15and wine to gladden the heart of man, oil to make his
face shine and bread to strengthen man's heart.
Psalm 107:43 Whoever is wise, let him attend to these things;
let them consider the steadfast love of the LORD.
32.28. And they say: When cometh this victory (of yours) if ye are
truthful?
Refer to 2Peter 3:4 at ayat 18.59 Commentary on the
Koran: Surah 18 (No. Q018).
Mark 13:32 But concerning that day or that hour, no one knows, not even the angels
in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
Refer to 2Peter 3:9 at ayat 20.129 Commentary on the
Koran: Surah 20 (No. Q020).
32.29. Say (unto them): On the day of the victory the faith of those who
disbelieve (and who then will believe) will not avail them, neither will they
be reprieved.
Isaiah 3:11 Woe to the wicked! It shall be ill with him,
for what his hands have dealt out shall be done to him.
Isaiah 13:11 I will punish the world for its evil, and
the wicked for their iniquity; I will put an end to the pomp of the arrogant,
and lay low the pompous pride of the ruthless.
Proverbs 21:30 No wisdom, no understanding, no counsel can avail against the LORD.
Repentance
must be timely and not a last minute thing.
32.30. So withdraw from them (O Muhammad), and await (the event). Lo!
they (also) are awaiting (it).
Refer to Habakkuk 2:3 at ayat 18.82 Commentary on the
Koran: Surah 18 (No. Q018).
Hebrews 10:37 For, "Yet a little while, and the
coming one will come and will not delay;
Revelation 22:12 Behold,
I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he
has done.
So the One
True God allowed the sons of Shem to be reprieved and they were allowed to live
and still they destroyed the faith and invented the Hadith as lies to corrupt
it.
There are only
a few years left and they must repent if they wish to enter the millennial
system.
