The Problem of Evil

The Problem of Evil

This paper deals with the problem of evil and the omniscience and omnipotence of God. We’ll look firstly at Matthew 25:34. [34] Then the King will say to those at his right hand, `Come, O blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world;

It continues:

[35]  for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, [36] I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.'

The important point is that the Kingdom was prepared for the elect from the foundation of the world. The foundation of the world was the [katabole SGD 2602]; the laying down of the world or the foundation of the world. So the kingdom of God was prepared before the world was made.

That raises a whole series of problems but we will go on to another couple of quotes first.

Luke 11:50 gives us the concept again of the foundation of the world:

[50] that the blood of all the prophets, shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation,

and verse 51 goes on to say:

[51] from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechari'ah, who perished between the altar and the sanctuary. Yes, I tell you, it shall be required of this generation.

It is talking about “this generation”. There are two elements involved in this concept. Firstly, the last generation of the Temple, from the death of Christ going on through until 70 CE.  Then the last generation which deals with the end of the age over these Last days. But the concept is that the blood of the prophets was shed from the foundation of the world. How was the blood of the prophets shed from the foundation of the world when we are not really looking at the laying down of the world but at the death of the prophets? The first prophet was Adam and he died because of sin. So the sequence of the elect commenced from Adam and death entered the world through sin from Adam.

John 17:24 carries us on to the next phase:

[24] Father, I desire that they also, whom thou hast given me, may be with me where I am, to behold my glory which thou hast given me in thy love for me before the foundation of the world.

The concept is that Christ was loved by the Father before the foundation of the world.  Verses 25-26 go on to say:

[25] O righteous Father, the world has not known thee, but I have known thee; and these know that thou hast sent me. [26] I made known to them thy name, and I will make it known, that the love with which thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them."

In this concept, Christ has a pre-existence implied in the statements he is making in that his relationship with God was in the spiritual realm before the foundation of this world. There are a series of premises in these texts.

The first chapter of Hebrews deals with Christ. Hebrews 1:10-11 reads:

[10] And, "Thou, Lord, didst found the earth in the beginning, and the heavens are the work of thy hands; [11] they will perish, but thou remainest; -they will all grow old like a garment, (cf. Psalm 45).

This deals with Christ, but it was God who laid the foundations of the earth. Binitarian and Trinitarian writers are trying now to differentiate Christ from the Host, and say that this is a Melchisedek text where he says in verses 13-14:

[13] But to what angel has he ever said, "Sit at my right hand, till I make thy enemies a stool for thy feet"? [14] Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to serve, for the sake of those who are to obtain salvation? “

This text is misapplied to say that somehow Christ is distinct from the other sons of God and that the ministering spirits are lesser beings than those of the elect. Yet it was these beings that were with God from the foundation of the world. We know that from Job 38:4-7:

[4] "Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? Tell me, if you have understanding. [5] Who determined its measurements -- surely you know! Or who stretched the line upon it? [6] On what were its bases sunk, or who laid its cornerstone, [7] when the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

So, at the foundation of this earth all the morning stars, not just one or two, but all the morning stars were present and all of the sons of God shouted for joy at the creation of this earth.  This cannot possibly be talking to humans about humans. Before this earth was formed, before there were any humans on it, the sons of God were amassed in order to view the creation of this earth by God the Father. This is a critical point, a critical text. Trinitarians do not read or discuss this text because they can’t explain it.

The next text to look at is Hebrews 9:26 which reads:

[26] for then he would have had to suffer repeatedly since the foundation of the world. But as it is, he has appeared once for all at the end of the age to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

In order to deal with sin Christ would have had to offer himself repeatedly as High Priest because it says:

[26] for then he would have had to suffer repeatedly since the foundation of the world. But as it is, he has appeared once for all at the end of the age to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.[27] And just as it is appointed for men to die once, and after that comes judgment,  [28] so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.  (RSV)

Or as stated by the KJV:

[26] else must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but  now once at the end of the ages hath he been manifested to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. [27]  And inasmuch as it is appointed unto men once to die, and after this cometh judgment; [28] so Christ also, having been once offered to bear the sins of many, shall appear a second time, apart from sin, to them that wait for him, unto salvation.

Christ came once to deal with sin and then he will come to save those who eagerly await him. Thus sin was from the foundation of the world, particularly from Adam when he was induced to sin and the prophets have been killed from Adam, but it was Christ who came to deal with sin. He then also solved the problem of sin as we see from 1Peter 1:20:

[20] He was destined before the foundation of the world but was made manifest at the end of the times for your sake.

Reading from verse 18:

[18] You know that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your fathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, [19] but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot. [20] He was destined before the foundation of the world but was made manifest at the end of the times for your sake. [21] Through him you have confidence in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

This raises a couple of serious points in dealing with the structure. It is known through nine texts that this plan of God existed before the world was created and involved sin and the expiation from sin from Adam through to Christ and on through to the end of the redemption of the elect. Revelation 13:8 shows that this process is ongoing.

Revelation 13:8 and all who dwell on earth will worship it, every one whose name has not been

written before the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb that was slain. (RSV)

or

Revelation 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. (KJV).

This is talking about the time of the Dragon and the time of the Beast and the time of the

blasphemies against God. Verse 7:

And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome  them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

It was the Lamb that was slain from the foundation of the world and this takes us right to the end of all the elect so that we are all aware over the whole two thousand years from the death of Christ right through  until the end of the period and a further 1000 years into the Millennium and the 100 years of the Judgment. This is fore-ordained by God, all under the control of God and all with the knowledge of God. So God is omniscient in all things. Omniscient implies that God is all knowing such that the entire future is known and understood. A being that does not know the future certainly cannot be God who declares the end from the beginning as we are told.

This concept then goes on to Revelation 17:8, which goes through to the end of the period of the creation of the rule of Satan and the evil powers in control of the planet.

[8] The beast that you saw was, and is not, and is to ascend from the bottomless pit and go to perdition; and the dwellers on earth whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, will marvel to behold the beast, because it was and is not and is to come. (RSV)

This Plan of God takes into account all of the human creation and then deals with the millennial system when we go to Revelation chapter 20 which deals with the establishment of the millennial system after the placement of Satan and the fallen host in the bottomless pit or tartaros. They are then judged after the millennial system, after we commit and perform our functions from the First Resurrection through to the Second Resurrection. They are then released for their final task which is the final rebellion and the last war at the end of the Millennium prior to the Second  Resurrection of the dead. These are the texts that show us that the plan of God is clearly written, planned, thought out and God is in control from before He laid the first element in the construction of this planet. This then deals with the omniscience of God and the Problem of Evil. If God had a plan from the foundation of the earth, why did He create the earth given that this problem would occur and is He not responsible? Because He knew these things would occur is He responsible for making them occur? That is then a problem called Freedom and Determinism. If God knew something would happen, does the fact that He knew it was going to happen impinge on our freedom and does it make it determined that it would happen? If it is known to be happening in the future then what does omniscience mean?

Omniscience means the knowledge of all true propositions. A minister once said: “Does God know everything? Does God know I am going to pull this hanky out of my pocket?” The response is that yes, of course He did. He knows the way we think. He says: “I know your thoughts and they are not my thoughts.” The real point was that God must have a knowledge of all true propositions otherwise He is not omniscient and if He is not omniscient He is not God. It is as simple as that. He must also have control over the creation such that He is omnipotent or all powerful and able to control His creation and bring what He wills to fruition. He gave Satan authority to deal with mankind. He is not responsible for the choices Satan and the Host make but His omniscience requires that He knows and that He makes provision to bring good from that evil. How He does that is explained in the Plan of Salvation outlined below and explained in detail in the work The Law of God Volume 3: God’s Calendar and the Plan of Salvation.

Freedom is enabled in the creation by allowing us to exercise choice; for us to be able to make a decision as to whether we will follow and obey the laws of God or whether we will not follow the laws of God. So, if there is no law there can be no sin for without law there is no sin. But the law must have existed from the beginning because it comes from the very nature of God. Therefore the law must have existed when the foundation of this earth was made, because God is all of the things that the law is: perfect, true, good, just and righteous.

The things that are done for us to allow us to have freedom and judgment are enabled and of necessity must provide us with the capacity to be able to destroy this planet. We must logically be able to destroy the planet and we will very nearly do that. Christ will be sent back to those who eagerly await him. He will be sent back to stop us from finally totally destroying this planet under the judgment and guidance of the demons.

God knows all of these things. He knows what we are going to do and He decided to allow us the freedom to do it. Only an omniscient and all-powerful God, omnipotent meaning all-powerful, omniscient meaning all-knowing, omni meaning all, encompassing everything, is capable of this. There is no point in knowing things that are not true propositions as that is an inconvenient mind structure which God would not be bothered with but rather knowing all things that are true. God knew everything we did in our lives and everything we were going to do. All of us who were chosen in the church, our works were formed in the womb and determined before we were born. How do we know that? God speaks through the spirit into the mind of Jeremiah.

Jeremiah 1:4-5 states:

[4] Now the word of the LORD came to me saying, [5] "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations."

Before Jeremiah came out of the womb he was ordained a prophet. Likewise, each of us in the church who was ordained to do the work of God in the last days was determined from before we came out of the womb to do this work. Hence God knew all the bad things we were going to do throughout our lives. He knew what we would fail at but still set us aside in order to do this work. Why did He do that? If it were going to be of the elect wouldn’t He have a moral responsibility to make sure that only the best were selected? That’s not what He says, is it? Why were we called? To confound the mighty and to make our weakness into strength and to overcome through His omniscience our weaknesses.

Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with sighs too deep for words.

So even our prayers are re-interpreted.

[27] And he who searches the hearts of men knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.

Thus the will of God controls and directs us in the elect and has done from the time we were conceived as a zygote in the womb of our mothers. Does that mean that God makes us sin, that God, knowing the things we are doing would provide for those sins and that we are excused from sinning? No!

Going on to verse 28:

[28] We know that in everything God works for good with those who love him, who are called according to his purpose.

Everything works together for the good even the sins we commit but that does not mean we can continue to sin, otherwise we sacrifice Christ incessantly. That is why many are called but few are chosen so that the ones who are called and continue to sin and fail and go to the Second Resurrection were not chosen by God in the first place. We know that because of this text. So we know that all things work together for good to them that love God to them that are called according to His purpose. Note that it is according to His purpose. That is the key text. Verse 29 explains the sequence:

[29] For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the first-born among many brethren.

It is through God’s omniscience that He knows who we are, what we would do and what we would achieve. For instance, He knew that David would commit adultery with Bathsheba and then he would kill Uriah the Hittite by putting him in the heat of battle so that he would die and he ordered his generals to do it. God knew that he would do this from the foundation of the world. He knew all of David’s sins and then Nathan was sent to David to get David to judge himself out of his own mouth. Nathan told the story of the little lamb that had been taken by this wealthy shepherd who had many, many lambs of his own while this poor man had only one lamb. David was enraged that such a thing could be done and said that the wealthy man would pay four times what it had cost the poor man. That was his judgment, four sons died. That was the punishment. Theft is punished by repayment of four times what is stolen under the law. David stole Uriah’s wife and then killed Uriah so four sons died as a result. That puts all of David’s sons and their actions into perspective, the loss of the child, the loss of Absalom and so it goes. All of which came out of David’s own mouth pre-determined by the person himself, not by God. God sent the prophet to give him the hypothetical situation so that David judged himself. In the same way when Moses went to Pharaoh, he judged himself out of his own mouth. When he said to kill the first born of Israel he pronounced the death of the first born of the entire Egyptian race. God did not pre-determine that. That’s why Moses said: “Lord, he has judged himself out of his own mouth.”

Even though God knows what we are doing, He knows the heart and He knows what we will do. He does not make us do it and that is the Problem of Evil. Things are not determined. Determinism is an invalid, logical process in human activity.

To repeat verse 29 and through 31 we read:

[29] For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the first-born among many brethren.

The Holy Spirit has to hammer us into shape to conform us to the image of Christ.

[30] And those whom he predestined he also called; and those whom he called he also justified; and those whom he justified he also glorified.

Through His omniscience God knows what we will do; He knows who to use. He calls those people when it is time for them to be converted, to be baptized, to be conformed to the image of Christ. Then when He calls them, He justifies them. Justification as we are familiar with in terms of printing is the setting up of a page and justifying the print so that it is all square, perfectly formed on the page. That is the justification that goes with the Holy Spirit preparing the elect to conform to the image of Christ through the will of God.

Verses 31-32:

[31] What then shall we say to this? If God is for us, who is against us? [32] He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, will he not also give us all things with him?

This concept of being called but not chosen runs against the predestination and omniscience of God in that many people are called into the body of Christ not being predestined by God to be called. That is what has happened in the last days through the Sardis and the Laodicaean eras. We have all seen it and the majority of the church of the Sardis era of the Churches of God and the Laodicaeans were called but not chosen and they are either dead or they were spewed out of the mouth of God because they were lukewarm. God did not cause them to fail; they just were not chosen in the first place. They were not called by the omniscience of God; they were called because they heard the message but were not capable of following the message through.

The earth has been made hostile to the laws of God and the calendars of the pagans try to make it impossible to keep God’s Calendar as we will discuss in more detail in Volume 3.

Many know what the faith demands yet cannot keep it as it is too hard for them; usually now because of the New Moons. In America it is very hard to keep the Holy Days because their leave is not very long so it is very difficult. The Sabbath is not the test of the elect and has not been for many decades. The test of the elect is the New Moons and the full Feast of Passover/Unleavened Bread for eight days, keeping it in accordance with Deuteronomy 16. Deuteronomy 16 governs how the feasts are to be kept, particularly the Passover. Unless we do it properly we fail and it is the test in the last days.

More particularly God allows humans and demons to sin within His plan because He has allowed for the entire structure to be restored and not one life will be lost in spite of the pain and trauma experienced by the human errors and failures to keep God’s Law. That Plan of Salvation will also be explained in Volume 3.

So the omniscience of God does not determine what we do, rather God simply knows what we will do and knows what our aims and determinations are. The Bible says: “and David sinned no more” and God knew that David would sin no more and Nathan said that. God dealt with David and used him. Because of the fact that Solomon sinned, the kingdom was wrested from Solomon’s son but not in the lines through until Solomon died (cf. 1Kgs. ch 11).

God knows who we are and what we do and knows that we will try. He gives us a way out of all temptation and it is a matter of making sure that we are able to pick ourselves up and continue on and do what God wants us to do as well as we are able. That is really the important structure of our calling and the omniscience of God and our salvation in being justified and conformed to the image of Christ as the first born among many brethren. We are those who are the saints, the elect of God who keep the commandments of God and the faith and testimony of Jesus Christ as we read in Revelation 12:17 and 14:12.

The people in the world not called into the elect of the First Resurrection are simply left to their own devices until it is time to deal with them. For most, and in fact the vast majority, they will not be dealt with until they are dealt with in the Second Resurrection. God does not cause the evil.  He merely allows it to occur and works His plan in spite of what is being done in the world.

Part 2: Theory of Obligation

Obligations of the Creation

We’ll look now at the structure of the Law and at what theories of equity and justice we can abstract from the nature of God and the law. There exists upon a creator the moral and ethical responsibility for the proper use of that which he creates. If there is a sentient creation, that is, that there is an object of the creation and the creation is made as a sentient creation by the creator, then there is some obligation upon the creator to establish a system of social equity and justice, i.e. a purpose for the creation that regulates it and acts according to the nature of the creator who originated it.

One could say that an unethical being could create anything for any purpose, but if somebody is trying to produce a workable creation then that must operate according to laws and according to the nature of the being that created it.

God and the Law are the same, that is perfect, true, righteous and good. The law comes from the nature of God.

We will look at God as the source of an equitable creation and the source of social equity and justice.

Philosophy has tried to establish and develop a theory of the maximisation of social utility and thinkers have been concerned over the years with developing this proper exercise of the social structure and organization. Politics has developed as the means of organizing those social systems. Most of them fail, because politicians are immoral or amoral and long ago they worked out that societies cannot maximize utility in the long run and that social structures can be bribed by self interest and vote themselves funds and resources from the social structure. Of necessity that means that the social structure breaks down. It happened with the Babylonians, the Greeks, the Romans and then on through into Europe, China and the various social structures and in Egypt. It simply broke down through inequity and self interest.

One of the greatest problems with the law and the structure of society is that there is an inherent conflict. The maximization of utility within a structure in the short term and the basing of social equity on individual rights fail to maximize utility in the long run.

This is an understood philosophical problem on the maximization of utility for the distribution of goods and services and the regulation of society fails in this inherent contradiction. The only theory that stands up to this maximization of utility in the long run stems from a theory of obligation.

This theory of obligation is the only way that society can exist in the long term. When we look at the laws of God, enshrined in those laws of God is this theory of obligation.

The two Great Commandments are commands to the individual in two directions. The First Great Commandment is that you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your mind and with all your soul. The Second Great Commandment is that you shall love your neighbour as yourself.

The Second is like unto the First but one is centered on the Creator as the source and purpose and the central figure that holds the creation together. So you shall have no other gods before the One True God. That entity becomes the centre of the family of the universe, spiritual and human. The whole universe is geared around the First, then the Second in terms of making graven images or placing objects in lieu of God and then acting in the Name of God for a vain purpose. This Third Commandment goes into the authority of the use of the power of God’s system. When you take something, the name, in vain you are misusing for improper purpose the authority conferred on the creation by God. You are corrupting and warping the system that God created.

In the regulation there has to be a system of order placed in that structure and the order has to convey a sense of direction and social structure. Time is set aside for the regulation of the entire structure so that it acts in accordance with the will of God through His law, operating for His purpose as He has directed the universe to exist and function.

All of these four commandments regulate the First Great Commandment and act and regulate the human activity as well as the universal activity in accordance with the will of God. There are four simple directions aimed at centralizing the relationship and ensuring that no other activity interferes with that relationship and that structure.

Nobody acts improperly within the system taking that authority in vain and it acts according to the calendar structure set in the law by God. That is the system of regulation that the Creator has set in place to deal with the minds of humans, in order that all of that creation performs and functions according to His will and direction.

The Law is the mechanism that proceeds from His nature because you can’t establish a law which is contrary to the nature and purpose of the Creator of that system. So there can’t be a system regulating the creation that is not in accordance with the inherent nature of the Being that set it in place. Otherwise the philosophical system will break down and the Creator will be faced with something that is acting contrary to His nature. That would impugn His omniscience and His omnipotence, His power over the creation and His ability to plan and foresee the structure that He has created. That being cannot be God if there is a system put in place that is contrary to His nature.

In the Second Great Commandment we establish the family in the Fifth Commandment. The family takes the central point in the Second like the First where the First Commandment in the First Great Commandment sets the central point and purpose of the creation. That’s why the family is always attacked by anti-social structures and systems. That’s why Satan has tried to set up, and the Babylonian system has set up a system which in the end runs counter to the interests of the family and the social system, which is why it continually breaks down and cannot survive.

Then we have the regulations of the Sixth, Seventh, Eighth, Ninth and Tenth Commandments which regulate human activity in relation to itself.

There is an obligation to make alive so that the family has a first obligation to create life and to maintain the existence and structure of the family so that life is continued within the law-order of God in accordance with the laws laid down by the Creator. That’s why homosexuality and lesbianism strike at the very nature of the family. That is why they are socially untenable and why they will be stamped out by the Messiah at his advent. This is the reason society is breaking down at the moment and it will get worse and worse until such time as the thinking of the society becomes completely aberrant.

This structure of making alive is placed in its negative sense by killing, so the injunction is “thou shall not kill,” but the responsibility under the theory of obligation is that “thou shall make alive.”

You cannot kill the structure of society unless it is within the orders of God. For instance, you can’t wipe out the animal populations; you can’t do away with animal species. You have to make sure if you are taking edible items set aside in the food laws to be eaten that you leave the productive elements of those species alive and you don’t take the mother and the offspring; you don’t take them and kill them and not leave them capacity to breed. You make sure that there are areas set aside for the maintenance of those species.  All of that is entailed in the Sixth Commandment: Thou shall not kill, in that thou shall make alive.

In the same way “thou shall not commit adultery” has a specific function in maintaining the family so that all the activities of the society are geared around the preservation of the family unit and that it is not broken down. This aspect then harks back to the theory of obligation. There is an obligation on the family and every individual, because every individual comes out of a family, a unit created of a male and a female. It does not come from two men or two women. It comes from a male and a female and there is an obligation then to make sure that those units are maintained.

The next is that “you shall not steal” goes to the capacity of the family and the social systems to act coherently. By the tithe system, which is the law of God, the social system is set up and catered for on a continual basis. The First Tithe ensures that the regulatory and judicial system is maintained. So the entire system of justice is maintained in the leaders of the organized structure. That is why the tithe is maintained in the church and the church has an obligation to maintain a system of social equity and justice. That is why respect of persons in a church is every bit as horrendous as corruption in the judiciary. This was the reason the Churches of God had to be destroyed as most were in respect of persons. Their social structure and religious structure are to this very day in respect of persons and unjust, acting contrary to the laws laid down by God in the First and the Second Great Commandments.

So one tithe maintains the government structure and any further taking of funds, other than voluntary offerings three times a year as required under the law, is theft and a misuse of power by the judiciary. Therefore it would contravene the Eighth Commandment, “thou shall not steal.”

The social justice of the family to itself and to other people is contained in the second tithe. The second tithe is set aside so the family can perform the functions of the Fourth Commandment set down by God. All of the functions of the Second Great Commandment in terms of social justice and equity by the additional funds that it is given in order to assist other families within the social structure that is organized. That’s why the law then operates in extended groups from tens through to the fifties, hundreds and thousands. The captains of tens are there to ensure social equity in the social structure so that any additional funds required, not able to be provided through the First Tithe in terms of social justice, are provided through the Second Tithe in terms of social equity. That is achieved through the Third year. The Third year develops a pool to cover for the seven years, which then extends through the   fiftieth year of the Jubilee.

This structure is based on punitive measures inherent in that “thou shall not steal” where there are specific requirements; the restitution of four times anything that has been withheld. Once you have to pay back four times out of all of your wealth, and if necessary work for the rest of the sabbatical cycle as a slave for somebody else because you misused something, people start to think before they withhold money within the society. This must be enforced and the leaders of this structure acting as the regulators and judiciary in the priesthood cannot hold office if they misuse the authority given to them under the Third Commandment and are corrupt.

The Ninth Commandment is that “you shall not bear false witness.” So the proper record of the society is paramount. There must be proper records to ensure proper justice and false witness has to be punished ruthlessly under this system. A false witness bears false witness to pervert justice in order to ensure some improper action is used against some other person. That’s why the false witness must be punished with the action under the law that is carried as the penalty for the offence in which the false witness is used or given.

The logic of this sequence follows one to the other and reinforces the overall structure of the law and the family. It cannot be allowed

to be corrupted. There exists on every single person the responsibility to maintain this structure of the law. The law is enshrined in the two Great Commandments and all of it comes from the Nature of God for the purpose of the creation. It must be logically consistent and coherent in terms of the creation, its structure and its purpose. So all must follow one from the other. That’s why the Tenth Commandment subtends all of the law in terms of the intent of the mind and the heart. That’s why it is all written in our hearts and minds and why the Holy Spirit is necessary for us to be able to carry it through into the Tenth and understand the nature and the structure of the law.

This system will ensure social equity and justice throughout the world. It will ensure the environmental protection of every species in the creation, and it will ensure through the food laws as well as the tithes the proper regulation.

Also, if the Sabbath cycles are maintained under the law in the Fourth Commandment, the environment is maintained, the land has its Sabbaths and everyone is able to glean from the Sabbath year. The Third year of the Sabbath cycle provides a resource, both in granaries and in money for the movement of resources and there can be no such thing as theft by usury. Nations will borrow but they merely have to repay. The punishment is if a nation has to repay then it repays out of its resources and tithes in order to get over the problems it finds itself in because it has failed to carry our either the First Great or Second Great Commandment. It has failed in its responsibility of social equity and implementation through this theory or Law of Obligation which is the Law of God.

Every failure of the social structure will come down to the failure of the theory of obligation to operate within individuals, because they don’t see they have an obligation to make this system work. God has placed upon them these commandments, which are the obligations of the individuals and families within the structure, and the clans and the tribes, and they act as complete commands and systems of regulation and if you don’t keep them then you will suffer the punishments.  If you don’t keep the social structures under the calendar your system will break down through a failure, or withholding, under the cursed earth. When Satan broke the nexus of the law the earth became cursed, because the nexus of the law flowed from the theories of social equity through the law coming from the nature of God to the theory of obligation enshrined in the First and Second Great Commandments as detailed in the Ten Commandments and then the regulatory system has to follow on.

The earth was cursed because the nexus of the law was broken. When the Witnesses come and they reinstate the nexus of the law the social system will go back into the proper system of regulation. In every cycle in the Sixth year of the cycle there is an increased harvest. In the Sixth year of the Seventh Cycle there is a treble harvest to enable the Sabbath and the Jubilee years to be kept. In 2025 no matter how bad the earth is damaged there will be a treble harvest for the Sabbath and Jubilee years. This is in order to establish the Sabbath system and the Jubilee so that the whole world is properly educated in that Sabbath year and ready then to take up its inheritance as allocated from the end of the Feast of Tabernacles in 2027. From the First day of the Eighth month that Ninth year comes into play where all the lands are restored. The ploughing and preparation is done so that the harvest in the First year of the next cycle, the 121st Jubilee is enabled. The earth then begins to recover.

What we will be doing is assisting the earth in its recovery under these laws and within the theory of social obligation through the Ten Commandments and all the sub-structure of the law. None will disappear.

Jerusalem will be established and the Temple will be built in Jerusalem over the first half of the 121st Jubilee. Every year every nation on the planet will send its representatives to Jerusalem to be given instructions for the following year. There will be a law-order established and then adjusted by individual teaching systems emanating from Jerusalem each year.

For any nation that does not send its representatives to attend there, Zechariah 14:16-19 is quite clear. They will get no rain in due season and they will suffer the plagues of Egypt, that is, if there is an irrigation system in place in a nation where they think they can get away with not being part of the system because of the irrigation they will be struck with plagues and will not escape unscathed. The whole world will do as it is told.

This system in Law, based on this theory of obligation towards God in the Ten Commandments through the two Great Commandments, will be the system that controls the Millennium, with the Nature of God through to the end of the Second Resurrection and the judgment of all people and then we will go on to run the universe.

This system will still be in place because it comes from the Nature of God and we will all be the same as Christ and that Nature will invest itself in us and it will control the way we operate within the system.

So the simple structure, these Ten Commandments, from which the whole law is subtended is key to social regulation.  Putting all the commandments together at the Reading of the Law, in every Sabbath year, shows how the Two Great Commandments control all of society and its structure.

This process then ensures that the Problem of Evil is minimized. Human freewill still exists but there is a penalty and it is made obvious by the social system that regulates the society. The punishments listed there are ultimately sanctioned by the death penalty, because in each one of these, the continued breach of the commandments carried with it the death penalty. We are given the opportunity of repentance, correction and restoration, but nobody anywhere in the world is able to get away with complete and wilful breach of these laws. Ultimately the society breaks down, the planet breaks down and God intervenes.

In the millennial system it will be a direct intervention year to year and the nations will be subjugated by the punishment for the failure to carry out the law. So they cannot ignore it and the whole of the world will keep the law-order as enshrined in God’s calendar and through the laws, so that there is no inequity and there is social justice and organisation throughout the entire world. The heavenly host and the First Resurrection are there to ensure that happens. When the First Resurrection occurs, any of us who are left alive then wait for the dead to be resurrected and we all go to Jerusalem as spirit beings. We are then responsible for acting with the heavenly host for the control of the planet.

The structure of the planet is organised and run under us, not the angelic host, because the responsibility for dealing with the demons and the judgment of the demons in the Second Resurrection is vested in us. As we perform over the thousand years of the Millennium so the demons are judged and their judgment is mitigated or exacerbated by our conduct.

All of these laws and the way we enforce them and the way the structure of the planet is run in the millennial system determines what happens to the demons and is used as a tempering factor on our judgment.

For instance, were we to judge them harshly the demons would be quite logically able to point to inconsistencies in our implementation of our responsibilities and our judgment of their implementation of their responsibilities. That is why the judgment is placed with us as it was with Christ.

Christ’s actions judged Satan in the war in the desert. Satan was judged against Christ. Christ did not fail, Satan did fail.

Each one of the fallen Host will be judged against those who are given the commensurate ranks in the millennial system. The leaders of nations in terms of spiritual leadership will be judged against leaders of nations in their comparable structures, like the Seventy. Those key spiritual leaders of the elect of the saints will judge the key spiritual leaders of the fallen host and on it will go.

That system is for a thousand years and then the hundred years for their reorganization and restoration. That will carry through so that we all then understand this whole concept of social equity and how the whole world needs the laws of God to function properly.

That is why this sacred calendar has to be in accordance with the seasons. That is why the Babylonian intercalations in the Jewish Hillel calendar make a farce, a mockery of the system put on this planet by God with which to regulate it because they intercalate in different years and so the seasons are out and the system God set up for the proper regulation under the Fourth Commandment is completely corrupted by these very people who purport to act in accordance with the laws of God. What is worse is that the Churches of God have condoned their sin by following Hillel in many churches in the twentieth century.

The Jews have set up a system that cannot work and they know it cannot work. They did it deliberately and the Church of God under Herbert Armstrong adopted that calendar. They know that it cannot work and they know that it was not the original system under the Temple at any time right through until the destruction of the Temple in 70 CE. They know it, yet they wilfully insist on keeping it, even in the Churches of God, and they do it because the ministry does not have the courage to tell them the truth and accept the consequences of their failure.

That will not last for very much longer. It will come to an end in a very short period of time. The six thousand years given to Satan is almost up.

The planet will almost be destroyed so Christ will have to come earlier because the planet is in a very serious condition.

Nations have established systems that are totally untenable. Japan has established multiple nuclear reactors on known earthquake fault lines; volcanic activity is endemic in these areas. They will almost wipe out the northern hemisphere, certainly in the Pacific. It is almost as though the demons have simply corrupted their minds to the point that they don’t care if they don’t survive. That’s where we seem to be.

National leaders are using horrendous bio-chemical weapons against their own people. That can only be a demonic mindset. The demons have to be in control of these Middle Eastern national leaders and the leaders of the West. There is nothing rational about what is happening. There is nothing they do that is in accordance with these commandments, neither the First nor the Second Great Commandments or any of the commandments that subtend from those two Great Commandments, and the Ten Commandments. They keep none of it and therefore the world cannot survive. The system is breaking down and people will get poorer and poorer as they allocate funds to themselves over and above the necessity of the society to survive.

The new schemes coming in are unsustainable and are assisting the wealthy more than the base families, the low earning families of the society. Those things cannot remain in operation because they are unsustainable. The medical systems of the US are outrageous and it is the so-called religious that reject their responsibilities under a theory of obligation under biblical law. Our capacity to control antibiotics is degenerating through resistance and the drug firms based in the US and EU are completely profit driven and do no new research. They cannot be allowed to survive.

That is why the Roman Empire, when they saw that they could simply allocate funds out of the wealth of the empire, collapsed because it couldn’t pay its bills. America cannot pay its bills. It will go bankrupt because its debts are in the order of 19 trillion dollars as of 2013. It simply cannot pay that amount without restructuring its society. They are starting to realize that and Europe is also realizing that the US cannot pay its debts. Its system is unenforceable; unrecoverable. It is going to continue on now at an increasing rate until our complete economic system is destroyed and we go into total world war, in the very near future.

The reason Germany has re-elected its chancellor is because of the tough line they want to take on the rest of Europe, but the Federalists want to put Germany in charge of the Federation of Europe. They will make the world pay and that cannot work because all of it runs contrary to this theory of obligation, which is the only way that the laws of God can make a functional society work, as it comes from the very nature of God.

So this system is a powerful interrelated coordinated, coherent, system of law-order and it comes from the nature of God. Until we re-enforce that law-order, society will continue to degenerate and we cannot replace it with anything that is remotely functional because God controls it through His very nature. Unless the system reflects the nature of God it cannot work.

That is where we are at, where evil flows from the failure to enact the laws of God as laid down in God’s law-order and all evil emanates from a failure to make the laws of God function and to organize the family as the social structure of the society.

In each one of these systems, God is the centre and no other system is to be placed in lieu of that system. The authority under that system is not to be taken in vain. It is to be done in accordance with the social order and the structure of holiness set out in God’s calendar. That then ensures that the human structure can survive under the families and through families to clans, to tribes, to nations.

Those systems are then regulated through the Sixth  Commandment of making alive; the Seventh in keeping the family as a functional system; the Eighth in ensuring everything is produced under proper ownership and responsibility.

The system is maintained through tithes; the First Tithe ensuring the regulatory system and the judicial system, the system of justice and equity; then through the Second Tithe ensuring the welfare system of the society. The Food Laws regulate the planet, ensuring that only that which is to be eaten is eaten and that the other systems form the basis of the food structure for the rest of the edible food systems.

The reason you don’t eat krill and prawns and lobsters is because they form the basis of the substructure of all edible fish. Once they are being eaten you destroy your own diet because the heavy metals in the substructure of the food chain in the sea are passed into the different areas of the bodies of those fish.

The Benthic Environment

You don’t eat seashells, clams, mussels and things like that because they are the filtering agents which keep the sea clean. By eating these creatures you take in the gastroentero viruses into your body and destroy your health system.

The Food Laws of the Bible prevent many diseases passed through unclean foods (see the paper The Food Laws (No. 15) CCG).

You don’t kill all the living creatures in areas. For instance there are virtually no birds in Italy because the Italians kill and eat everything contrary to the laws of God. There have not been large bird populations in Italy for a couple of hundred years because they will kill and eat anything. The Chinese are the same. The top order fish have been eliminated. They will catch the sharks simply to cut the fins off and make soup. This is of a perverted mind. This will not be allowed to continue or they will be punished. This is the same with the Japanese and many others.

Education is necessary so that people know what the laws of God are and why they have to keep them. If they don’t keep them there has to be a penalty and the penalty has to be serious and structured under the law. The Bible states what the penalties are.

This paper deals with the Problem of Evil, what it is, where it comes from and why the earth is in the shape it is. Why it is so bad? It is so bad because we don’t keep the laws of God.

We cannot become God; we cannot become elohim until we get to the point where the Holy Spirit is in us so that we can act as God. That is our ultimate aim.

I said ye are gods, children of the Most High, all of you and scripture cannot be broken (John 10:34-36)
