Sabbath 25/12/47/120B
Dear Friends
This is a further update for DR Congo from Jean Paul Nyonzima.
Hi all
Good Sabbath all,
Continue to keep drcongo conference in prayers and I have left Beni I am in kampala Uganda preparing returning back to Goma I noted if I get back I will be safe so no reason to remain in refugees situations.
At present North kivu province capital city Goma and South Kivu capital city Bukavu all are captured by M23 rebels and they are seeking dialogue with drcongo government but government is not yet agree so we will still suffering if no peace talks between government and m23 rebels.
At present CCG drcongo conference has many people in Goma and Bukavu cities in camps who didn't get the way to flee I noted that they are safely only the challenges no food, no shelters they are in difficult situations I plan to go there and help some of them to return back to their locations.
Also I noted that it is possible for me to arrange assistance to get to them if I am in Goma some of our people who fled to Bukavu just need funds to use water through lake Kivu to Goma then arrange to get back to their locations.
I have raised some funds from CCG members Ituli province and others still few but I will use it what I can so I will travel to Goma through Uganda Bunagana boarder also our people are there will help me to get safely to Goma city.
I noted that Border to Goma is open also Bunagana boarder is open so it is possible to access areas occupied by M23 rebels through Uganda and Rwanda so I have to get there soon as possible so I can help our people who are suffering.
At present 1400 CCG members are still in Goma Camps as their areas are not yet safe also 900 members are in Bukavu camps all are on occupied areas by M23 rebels but if I get there I will arrange to help most of them to return back to their homes.
Also we have more 3000 people fled in the camps outside north Kivu and south Kivu in the area under drcongo government control for them we try to help them as it's easy to access to them nearest members try to give them food and host them as we were doing before Goma city fallen.
Also thousands fled to Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and Tanzania whom they are more suffering as no relatives or friends to help them always I appreciate CCG world conference and CCG Uganda conference for a lot of assistance you give to our people in Uganda camps the hungry is there in the camps but nothing to do be patient we hope one day God will hear us always I am crying for God to hear for our prayers.
Also I noted our people who remained Goma city as they did not get the way to flee by the grace of God they are safely.
Our people who fled to Bukavu who are in need to return back to their locations are in need $9200 USD for transportation only then $4000 USD for food during travel up to their home locations total require to get back them to they location are $13200 USD.
Also to help those who remained in Goma we need $8700 USD for both food and transportation.
At present I do not have computer and printer also I will need solar system all will cost me $1700 USD
Required funds to deal with above requests are $23600 USD while I was in Beni Mudimba Muhindo CCG drcongo conference national advisor raised $8300 USD from CCG drcongo conference members around in drcongo conference specially CCG Ituli province members and last evening Bizimana Bosco CCG Uganda conference national coordinator provided to me $5000 USD at present I have $13300 USD I am still in need $10300 USD if we can get this remaining I can be able to deal with urgently needs and relief food.
As thousands of arabica coffee where planted by members if they get back home they will be able to deal with their needs please be with us on raising require funds to safe vulnerable members who are suffering.
Thank you so much for all support and God bless you.
Yours in Christ Jean Paul Niyonzima
National coordinator
CCG drcongo conference
All of this is an ongoing ordeal for the Congo DR. I noted also that a few churches in Malawi became offended that we had provided support to Uganda and the DR Congo and threatened to leave CCG for some other offshoots of the COG systems even though those organisations were Binitarian, and they kept Hillel. I urge all those who think that way to please leave CCG immediately. You have no place with us. If your God and your calendar means that little to you then you are not called and part of us. We mark you in accordance with Romans and the Witnesses can deal with you.
