Dear Friends,

This is a further update from Mudimba re the situation in the Congo DR. They appreciate our help and they are coping as best they can.

Hi all,

Conflicts continue to extend to south Kivu as Kalehe territory, and strategic kavumu airport that serves Bukavu the capital of South Kivu province.

The UNHCR spokesperson also highlighted the fact that “heavy artillery shelling and looting” have destroyed 70,000 emergency shelters around Goma and Minova in North and South Kivu provinces, leaving some 350,000 internally displaced people (IDPs) “once again without a roof over their heads”.

While some 100,000 displaced people have attempted to return to their home areas – where they are met with damage to their homes and a lack of essential services – many remain stranded.

Our people whom fled there are continuing to flee also other areas of North Kivu people continue to flee their homes.

Continue to pray for us also. CCG drcongo conference National coordinator Jean Paul Niyonzima is here he fled his home without anything.

We are sending big thanks to all CCG members who are standing with us on this hard time thank you so much for relief food, shelters and clothes.

Special thanks are sent to CCG world conference, CCG Uganda conference and Internal CCG drcongo conference members in Ituli province thank you so much again.
