New Moon 01/13/47/120B
Dear
Friends,
This is the New Moon Message Part B with the note from Bizimana Bosco in Uganda.
It is important that we also note how these people are being affected and that the other African nations in CCG see the importance of tithing and supporting other brethren in other nations with our tithes.
In the near future there will be no banking facilities and we will not be able to get funds to anyone and our funds in the west will dry up also.
When that happens the people not tithing will themselves starve.

Dear Jean Alphonse,
As of now, Kalemie remains secure, and the conflict has not yet extended to the area also it will be not easy to fund every fleeing CCG members as most of us in North kivu and south Kivu we were facing fleeing from last 28 years we faced different conflicts Over 7 million people are displaced across the DRC, including 2.8 million in North Kivu - a province in eastern DRC where much of the recent fighting has been concentrated. Nearly 780,000 people were forced to flee their homes between January 2025 and February 2025 alone.
However, CCG members from North Kivu (Rutshuru, Masisi, Walikale, Kalehe, Kamanyola, Nyangezi, Ngomo, and Uvira) are facing serious challenges.
Myself during fallen of Goma city to M23 rebels I fled to Rwanda then to Bukavu then to Beni but none I have requested money for helping me to flee conflicts.
At least I have returned back to Goma but it was long traveling as I have used to pass in Uganda then To Bunagana boarder now I am safe in Goma soon I will go to My village home Masisi I returned back to Goma on 24 February 2025 our office everything was stolen even at my home village every thing was stolen.
The challenges many of our people are being f returning to their villages without adequate support, their homes have been destroyed, and many have spent the many years in refugee camps.
They are suffering from severe food shortages and lack seeds for cultivation I am trying to help what I can.
Additionally, the closure of Goma and Kavumu international airports, along with banking restrictions, has further worsened the situation. In general since we are in areas occupied by M23 we do not have access to bank but we hope peace talks will be maintained soon keep praying for us.
CCG members in the affected areas are experiencing extreme hardship.
Best
regards,
Jean

I have just spoken with Armel Ngom by phone. This is the alarming security situation caused by the Rwandan-backed M-23/AFC rebel group, which aims to overthrow the central government. This group is seizing major cities and is currently advancing towards Kinshasa, the capital. They are now a few days away from the town of Kalemie, where Armel Ngom is located.
Armel asks for our help to leave Kalemie and reach Lubumbashi. The cost of the ground journey is USD 130, while the air journey costs USD 220. He currently has $35 in his tithing.
