Passover 2024
Dear Friends,
This is the Passover of the 47th year of the 120th Jubilee. We are now at the Passover and are about to celebrate the most important feast of the year. We commence this feast with the Second Sacrament of the Church of God which is the Lord's Supper, the primary sacrament being Baptism following Repentance (No. 052). These are the only two sacraments established by Christ and the Apostles.
There are untold tens of thousands of you that have been baptised and inducted over the last twelve months and this is your first Passover. We congratulate all of you and wish you well in your journey into the Body of Christ. This is a great opportunity for each of you and points towards a glorious future for you. In a few short years Messiah will be here and your aim is to be in either the First Resurrection or to go into the millennial system under Christ. If you have come in from the WCG Offshoots, remember that Hillel is a month late this year, therefore you have to be prepared before this week or you will have to take the Second Passover. It is very important that you study the papers given to you over the period from 1 Abib to the Passover and then over the Passover period. We also deal with the papers over the Omer Count to Pentecost as we list here. The purpose of the papers is to educate you as to the correct history and timing of the Execution and Resurrection of Christ. It is also important that you note that Christ was executed on a Wednesday and not on a Friday and was resurrected at the end of the Sabbath in accordance with the Sign of Jonah. That was in the year 30 CE, which was the only year over the period that complied with the Sign of Jonah (No. 013). That aspect is covered in the paper Timing of the Execution and Resurrection (No. 159). It is also important that you note that Christ was killed on a stauros, and not on a cross. The cross was a symbol of the Babylonian Sun and Mystery Cults (see No. 039). A stauros was a stake sharpened at both ends. It was derived from the practice developed by the Phoenicians. As Bullinger so clearly says “a stauros is no more a cross than a stick is a crutch.”
The WCG system and many professing Christians have been totally deceived over modern times by the absolutely shameless forgeries in the KJV and their ministries simply don't do enough work to rectify the errors and thus they allow their people to be deceived as to the timing of the death of Messiah and allow blatant false doctrines to corrupt their people; e.g. falsely teaching a 31 CE death and resurrection which contravenes the Sign of Jonah and disqualifies Christ as the Messiah (see No. 159B). The Sign of Jonah is the only sign given to the Church regarding Messiah and the faith. It is therefore critical that we understand it and in its full complexity (see also Completion of the Sign of Jonah (No. 013B)). We will study the Sign of Jonah (No. 013) this Passover also (see below).
This Passover on the night beginning 15 Abib we will use the Hallel Psalms of Pss. 113, 114, 115, 116, 117, 118. These psalms were always sung at the Passover and other festivals. The understanding of the Passover was corrupted and lost in both Sardis and Laodicea. They have now been restored in CCG. These psalms develop the Holy Days and the power of the elect in the Holy Spirit given to man at Pentecost 30 CE (see The Holy Spirit (No. 117) and No 159)). They are referred to as the “Egyptian Hallel,” and used in connection with the great festivals. At the Passover Pss. 113 and 114 are sung before the meal. Pss. 115-118 are sung afterwards. The psalms unfold to 118 and then in Psalm 119 we see the Law of God outlined in its full honour and glory as the key element in the elevation of mankind to Elohim as sons of God. Antinomianism was developed by the demons to prevent mankind from reaching its full potential as Elohim (No. 001), (cf. Commentary on the Psalms Part 5i). This Passover\Unleavened Bread we will study the papers Nos: 103A; 242B, 106B, 275, 099, 100, 101, 107; 013; 019; 159; 159A. We will then go on over the Omer Count to study papers Nos: 173; 115; 106A; 070; 222; F021; F021ii; 117; 146; 065. Have a great feast, eat the fat and drink the sweet and help one another grow in the faith.
