Sabbath 17/04/44/120

Dear Friends,

This Sabbath we will look at the paper The Angel of YHVH (No. 024), and also the paper The Pre-existence of Jesus Christ (No. 243) the following Sabbath.  These two papers should be read prior to the study of the texts of Acts Part 2 as developed in chapter 7 re the martyrdom of Steven regarding the place of Christ as giving the law to Moses at Sinai as the Angel of the Presence.  The text regarding 1Corinthians 10:1-4 states explicitly that Christ was the being that was with Israel in the Wilderness at Sinai (Commentary on 1Corinthians Part 2 (No. F046ii). Paul was explicit that that being was Christ: Christ (Jn. 17:3-5), Stephen (Acts 7:30-55) and Paul (1 Cor. 10:1-4); and John 1:18; 17:3 were explicit that the being (theos or elohim) that was with God before he became a man was Christ. So also David said in Psalm 45:6-7 that the elohim of Israel had a God as his God.  Hebrews 1:8-9 identifies that elohim or theos as Jesus Christ.

One can only wonder at the refusal to accept the specific words of the prophets that identify the Elohim of Israel (Ps. 45:6-7; Heb. 1:8-9) as the subordinate elohim that the Bible specifically mentions as being the elohim and the Christ that was given Israel as his inheritance (Deut. 32:8) and who was the Angel of Salvation (cf. also Gen. 48:15-16; Job, 33:23).

It is important that one reads the Bible for the language of the Text and does not make assumptions as to the heresies that have been developed from the development of the Ditheist or Binitarian texts taught in the Third century to the Trinitarian arguments made by the Cappadocians in 381 CE at Constantinople and confirmed at Chalcedon in 451 CE. These false doctrines of Baal Worship will finally be stamped out with the coming of Christ and the Loyal Host over the next five years ending completely in 2026/7 (cf. Binitarianism and Trinitarianism (No. 076) and Ditheism (No. 076B)).

One of the most incoherent doctrines developed from the Bible is that of Radical Unitarianism (cf. No. 076C) that denies the pre-existence of Christ (No. 243 above). The reality is that one can only understand the Bible Texts with the Holy Spirit  (No. 117) on adult baptism. The Spirit brings the called to understanding, Repentance and Baptism (No. 52) and it is then placed within the individual from the laying on of hands at Baptism.

Next Sabbath we will study the paper The pre-existence of Jesus Christ and then we will go on to Acts Part 2 (No. F044ii) so we can develop the understanding at the time of Pentecost and the receipt of the Holy Spirit in 30 CE and the martyrdom of Stephen at Jerusalem.

It is important that we all understand and are able to explain the doctrines as per the Bible texts.
