Dear Friends
Today we will go into an examination of the Antinomian Doctrines of the Gnostics that entered Christianity from the middle of the First Century. The history is detailed in the text of Antinomian Destruction of Christianity By Misuse of Scripture (No. 164C). That is the subject of study for this Sabbath.
The sequence of their insidious attacks on the faith is listed in the papers:

We are sometimes contacted by the brainwashed and misguided devotees of Armstrongism through the misdirection of his ministry. They seek to defend the Gnostic aspects of his doctrines that came from his errors in doctrinal thought which often have their basis in Gnostic Doctrines. Often his advocates do not know enough to understand the origins of the errors. Armstrong was never baptised in the Church of God and thus would never have been permitted to hold office in the Churches of God anywhere. He was credentialed as a minister of the COG (SD) after his ordination by the laying on of hands at an all day tent meeting, and held office from 1940-1946 there. This was disputed by his WCG devotees and an officer of the COG (SD) produced the cancelled pay checks at a meeting with the ministry of WCG. I was given the details personally by Roy Marrs of the Bible Advocate before he was replaced in a bloodless coup of the Trinitarian plants in COG (SD).
Armstrong was the greatest heretic and thief ever to hold high office in the Church of God. He was responsible for the introduction of the following heresies into the Churches of God: namely Ditheism (No. 076B) often passed off as Dualism or Binitarianism. This heresy degenerated into Trinitarianism, playing into the hands of the Jesuit and Masonic agents (cf. also Binitarianism and Trinitarianism (No. 076)). The other major heresy was the introduction of the Hillel Calendar by Armstrong and A. N Dugger. These two heretics did not really understand the history of Hillel or if they did they concealed it so that their ministry did not question it and some even taught that it was kept by Christ and the Apostles despite it being a matter of public record that the Hillel calendar was constructed from 344 to 358 CE based on the Babylonian Intercalations. It was issued by Hillel II in 358 CE for the first time. Thus it was impossible to have ever been kept in the Temple Period and even for 278 years after the destruction of the Temple. It was corrected by Maimonides and reissued in the Twelfth Century. No Jew since the fall of the Temple and no member of the Worldwide Church of God or its offshoots has kept the New Moons and the Feasts and Holy Days on the correct days, ever in their lives, except by accident. Sometimes they have not even kept them in the correct months. They are thus classified as Sardis and will not enter the Kingdom of God in the First Resurrection. So also the Laodiceans have never done so because they see no need to obey God and have been undermined by the Jesuits and will not enter the First Resurrection either. They declared Trinitarianism in 1978 with the WCG declaring it in 1993-4. The WCG Ministry was too spineless to stop it and get some employment or income outside of the WCG. They then kept on with the heresies of Armstrong. They still teach the following errors:
The Oracles of God (No. 184);
The Place of Safety (No. 194);
The Fallacy of the Third Resurrection (No. 166).
So also is it asserted that Armstrong restored the Truths of the Bible and thus qualified as Elijah. That was a blatant lie as we see from The 18 Restored Truths of Herbert W Armstrong (No. 233B) and he was thus held to be Elijah as we see in Elijah? (No. 233). He, along with Ellen G White and the Watchtower and Bible Tract Society, were proven false prophets as we see in False Prophecy (No. 269).
Armstrong stole the WCG from its members with a false affidavit lodging it with the State of California doing away with the Constitution and vesting the Church in his sole ownership. We say and the facts are that no such referendum ever occurred. The appalling thing is that the dishonest ministry allowed him to do it. They were complicit in mass corporate theft and as such will all go to the Second Resurrection. God is not mocked.
So why is it necessary to tell the CCG all of this again after so many years? He has been dead since Jan 1986. The ministry collapsed into a squabbling rabble from 1994 to1996. Many of us are new to the faith and many of us are coming in from the Offshoots and need to know the truth. We are not concerned with the Offshoots, nor the Adventists and nor the JWs, who do not even keep the weekly Sabbaths and are blatant Antinomians. If God wants them He knows who and where they are. It is simply important that they know the Truth (No. 168) and where it is held.
It is important that we know from where these false doctrines come and we are able to readily refute them.
Rejoice not that the demons are subject to you but that your names are written in heaven. Simply obey the Commandments of God and the Faith and Testimony of Jesus Christ (Rev. 12:17; 14:12). Reject Hillel and keep the Temple Calendar (No. 156), if you wish to live. No person keeping Hillel will enter the Kingdom of God and the millennial system under Christ. No person worshipping on Sunday or Friday and keeping Christmas and Easter (No. 235) will enter the Millennium under Christ. They will simply die, as will the Satanists, Atheists, Pagans and idolaters around the world.
We are about to face the greatest tribulation that the world has ever seen. Through Faith you will endure. Remember that God has promised us, through Christ, that we will not have finished fleeing through the cities of Israel, until the Son of Man comes (Mat. 10:23). Those who do not keep the Sabbaths, New Moons and Feasts of God will be killed (Isa. 66:23; Zech. 14:16-19). We will then be saved in the First Resurrection (No. 143A).
