Sabbath 17/5/42/120

Dear Friends,

This Sabbath we need to tie the Covenant of God (No. 152) in with the actions of God in punishing the nation continually in breach of the Covenant in direct disobedience to the Laws of God in the exercise of that Covenant relationship.

It follows that if Christ was given Israel as his inheritance, as we are told in Deuteronomy 32:8, and that he was the Angel of the Presence that was with Israel at Sinai and gave the Laws of God (L1) to Moses at Sinai and punished Israel for beaches of that covenant in the wilderness, then we have much to learn in looking at what he did to Israel when they continually breached the Covenant.  That is covered in the paper in the sequence of the Descendants of Abraham Part VIII: Thirteen Famines of Rebellion (212H). 

It also follows as the night the day that Christ will enforce that Covenant on the world in the same ways he used in the nation of Israel in the Holy Land as we see in the Thirteen Famines.  The enforcement process will begin after the wars and with the arrival of the Witnesses.  These aspects have been touched on in the papers on the Wars of the End series.

The last example of this great Restoration will be covered in the paper next week The Last Great Famine which will be covered in next Sabbath’s message and linked to the paper.

The Last Great Famine will be accompanied by the punishments of the Witnesses (No. 141D) and the Vials of the Wrath of God (No. 141E) above.

Of course, the simpletons that pray to statues of the goddess Easter and effigies of the god Attis as the “Christ” and to “Saints” (who are all dead) and worship on Fridays or Sundays and keep Christmas and Easter and the festivals of Eid and Sharia and eat camel and other unclean meat contrary to Surah 3:93 and Surah 4:154 and the Law under Exodus 20 and Deuteronomy 5, will take a lot of convincing; especially from having been lied to so continuously by their priests and ministers and imams and sheiks.  Only last week Pope Francis placed the goddess Easter as “Mary” and the Roman Catholic Church above Jesus Christ in the place of salvation as “mother of God” or words to that effect. The blasphemy just gushes from their mouths.

The matter must be studied from the paper on the Thirteen Famines and then tied into the paper on The Last Great Famine next week.  This famine will crush mankind over a period of over four years and only be ended after the War Against Christ (No. 141E_2).   

This world will understand the dread that filled Egypt and Israel at Sinai when Christ dealt with them there. There will be no “just as I am Lord Jesus” then.  These blasphemers will repent or die.
