Dear Friends,

It is becoming obvious that the heresies and false prophecies of Armstrong are starting to be challenged within the systems that emanated from the WCG and the ignorance of the badly trained ministry of WCG is now being turned to justify the Scriptural attacks on the WCG system. Herbert Armstrong introduced a Ditheist system that taught two farcical errors in relation to Christ and another in relation to the Calendar in use in the Temple system and that used by the apostles and Churches of God over the first four eras of the church.

The errors of WCG Ditheism (No. 076B) rest on two absurd premises claimed by Armstrong with no Biblical proof whatsoever.

The First was that Christ was coeternal with God from before the beginning of the creation. To develop this view he then claimed that the God of the OT was in fact Jesus Christ and that the Father was never mentioned in the OT. This claim was in complete disregard to the many texts that referred to Christ as the Angel of the Presence and the Father being referred to in many texts in the OT and often as the Elyon or the Lord of Hosts.

It is beyond doubt that Christ was described as the Angel of the Presence in the desert with Moses and Israel at Sinai in the NT both in Acts chapter 7:30ff and in 1Corinthians 10:4 which states that that being was Christ.  These points establish without doubt the Pre-existence of Jesus Christ (No. 243). However, it also brings into the texts the clear doctrine that Christ did indeed exist prior to his incarnation and that he was the Angel of the Presence that gave the law to Moses. So also the patriarchs taught that Christ was the Angel of Redemption (cf. Genesis 45:15-16). Job also taught that the Angel of Redemption was one of the Thousand (Job 33:23).

Some of these badly educated ministers have commenced to make these bizarre claims even to the extent that the First Commandment concerns Christ and not God as Christ was the God of the OT. In 1991 the writer sat and listened to a senior evangelist of WCG tell the audience that God and Christ had a discussion as to who would go down and be the son of the other.

Now it is about time that the offshoots of the WCG began applying some simple logic and reason to their claims and doctrines, not to mention some historical facts.

Firstly there is a statement in the OT in Isaiah that says that the elohim of Israel, who is the Holy one of Israel, was made or created by God (cf. Isaiah 45:9-13 (No. 224A)). Look also at the text Angel of YHVH (No. 024).

Let us use an appeal to logic and simple mathematics. If there were two coeternal Beings then they are coeternal Gods.  Thus WCG has two true Gods because they are both immortal. One plus one equals two, the first and fundamental teaching of Mathematics. Yet the Bible teaches that there is only One True God and that He sent Jesus Christ (Jn. 17:3) and that only He is immortal (1Tim. 6:16). The Council of the Elohim in Ps. 82:1-6 and Ps. 89:5-9 includes the elohim of Israel and they were all to die as men (cf. Ps. 82:7). Look also at Israel as the Vineyard of God (No. 001C).

Wake up to reality and get rid of these teachers of fallacy. Get back to One True God and get rid of this Hillel Abomination (195C) invented by these pseudo Jews in 358 CE and adopted by Armstrong in 1941/6.
