Sabbath Message 27/10/40/120

Dear Friends,

We are continually being faced with people who claim they are Christians but think that it does not matter what they do, or what they say, or when they worship, and what festivals they hold in spite of what God says.  Some even say that one cannot lose one’s salvation. Such bizarre nonsense cannot be tolerated.

God did not write the Ten Suggestions.  He issued the Ten Commandments and the entire sequence of law through the Angel of the Presence who became Jesus Christ.

We have heard this sort of blasphemy issue from the mouths of the ministry of most churches and even from the Churches of God in the Last Days.

Let us understand that one is in either the First Resurrection or the Second Resurrection.  If you fail to qualify for the First you will automatically go to the Second Resurrection. If you go to the Second then the Second Death has power over all that are in it except the Judges there of the First Resurrection and the Loyal Angelic Host.  There you will do exactly as you are told or you will be allowed to die and then your useless carcass will be cremated in the Lake of Fire which will be powered by the spiritual forces taken from the Demonic Host (see the paper The Second Resurrection of the Dead and the Great White Throne Judgment (No. 143B)). Then that individual will be brought to mind no more. They will cease to exist forever. There is no immortal soul.  No perpetual salvation.  No more disobedience.

If God gives us laws then they are to be obeyed and if they are not obeyed the disobedient will be punished.

Let us look at the Ten Commandments and see what they entail. The First Four of the Ten Commandments  constitute the First Great Commandment  You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your mind and all your strength.

The Second Great Commandment is constituted by the Second Six Commandments. You shall love your neighbour as yourself.

On these two commandments, on which are subtended the Ten Commandments, hang all the law and the prophets.
See also The Laws of God (L1).
First Great Commandment
Exod.20 [1] And God spoke all these words, saying,
First Commandment
[2] "I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
[3] "You shall have no other gods before me.

The Commandment means that you shall not elevate any being to a level with the Father who is the One True God (Jn 17:3).  You shall not make any being co-equal or co-eternal with God nor shall you pray to them under any circumstances. Anyone who teaches to do so is to be removed and will be placed in the Second Resurrection. They will not live beyond the return of the Messiah.

Second Commandment
[4]"You shall not make for yourself a graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth;
[5] you shall not bow down to them or serve them; for I the LORD your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me,
[6] but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.

This text shows that no being other than God the Father is to be worshipped and that keeping His Commandments are essential to the Love of God.

Third Commandment
[7]"You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.

So also not taking His name in vain is a prime commandment. That means teaching false doctrine is also taking His name in vain.

The Fourth Commandment
[8] "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
[9] Six days you shall labor, and do all your work;
[10] but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God; in it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your manservant, or your maidservant, or your cattle, or the sojourner who is within your gates;
[11] for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day; therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.

On this Fourth Commandment hangs the entire Calendar of God and the Sabbaths, New Moons and Holy Days and Feasts of God (see God’s Calendar No 156)). God has made the New Moon of Abib the beginning of the Year and the Temple Calendar was kept according to the conjunctions and the First and the Seventh Months were at the turn of the year when the Equinoxes were in them. These turnings of the year cannot and must not be postponed. We have this as a Historical record from the writings of Philo (cf. God’s Calendar (No. 156) above).  For over 1900 years from the Temple system and the apostles right up into the Twentieth century the church kept the calendar by determination of the conjunctions and made no postponements until Armstrong and Dugger introduced the Hillel Calendar and the Babylonian Postponements to the Churches of God.  For this heresy they are both in the Second Resurrection. Every minister that served with them and teaches this heresy will be sent to the Second Resurrection, as will everyone who follows their false teachings.

The Second Great Commandment

The Fifth Commandment
[12] "Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which the LORD your God gives you.

Sixth Commandment

[13] "You shall not kill.
This Commandment also carried with it the responsibility to make alive (See Law and the Sixth Commandment (No. 259)).

Seventh Commandment
[14] "You shall not commit adultery.

Eighth Commandment
[15] "You shall not steal.

Ninth Commandment
[16] "You shall not bear false witness against your neighbour.

Tenth Commandment
[17] "You shall not covet your neighbour's house; you shall not covet your neighbour's wife, or his manservant, or his maidservant, or his ox, or his ass, or anything that is your neighbour's."

Consequences
[18] Now when all the people perceived the thunderings and the lightnings and the sound of the trumpet and the mountain smoking, the people were afraid and trembled; and they stood afar off,
[19] and said to Moses, "You speak to us, and we will hear; but let not God speak to us, lest we die."
[20] And Moses said to the people, "Do not fear; for God has come to prove you, and that the fear of him may be before your eyes, that you may not sin."
[21] And the people stood afar off, while Moses drew near to the thick darkness where God was.

[22] And the LORD said to Moses, "Thus you shall say to the people of Israel: `You have seen for yourselves that I have talked with you from heaven.
[23] You shall not make gods of silver to be with me, nor shall you make for yourselves gods of gold.
[24] An altar of earth you shall make for me and sacrifice on it your burnt offerings and your peace offerings, your sheep and your oxen; in every place where I cause my name to be remembered I will come to you and bless you.
[25] And if you make me an altar of stone, you shall not build it of hewn stones; for if you wield your tool upon it you profane it.
[26] And you shall not go up by steps to my altar, that your nakedness be not exposed on it.'

If you breach the laws of God then you will be punished. Every commandment is backed by the death penalty.  Punishment for breach is only effected under the direct rule of God either in the Wilderness and Temple system, or in the millennial reign of Christ, or in the Second Resurrection. In the Churches of God breach involves being placed outside the church and handed to Satan for judgment in the Second Resurrection. If you do not keep the Sabbaths, New Moons and the Feasts and Holy Days of God you will be in the Second Resurrection. There is no escape. Most of the Ministry of the Churches of God in the last days are in the Second Resurrection. So also is everyone that fails to keep God’s Laws.  That includes all who worship on Sundays and keep Christmas and Easter of the Sun and Mystery Cults or in any other system contrary to the laws of God.  God’s Plan of Salvation is not a Dutch Auction.   Obey or die.
