Sabbath Message 6/12/38/120

Dear Friends,

We often hear people asking why God allows evil and why does He allow so many things to happen to people around the world.  Many people profess to follow Him and keep His commandments and yet when you ask them what they believe you find that they completely ignore what God says and do the opposite (see Antinomian Destruction of Christianity by Misuse of Scripture (No. 164C)).

Some things God has allowed to happen because of the Fallen Host, and Satan has been placed as God of this earth and the nexus of the law was allowed to be broken.  The Bible is perfectly clear that Satan was given rule of the earth for a period of six thousand years and then Christ was given the rule over the Millennial system for 1000 years.  Then the entire world, including the demons, was to be judged for 100 years and everyone was to become a spirit being or allowed to die. So from where then did these so-called religious get their doctrines of Heaven and Hell?  The answer was they made it up from the ancient traditions and antinomianism.    They simply did not want to obey God.  The world was wiped out under Noah because they would not obey (see the papers The Doctrine of Original Sin Part I: The Garden of Eden (No. 246) and Doctrine of Original Sin Part II: The Generations of Adam (No. 248)).

The world refused to obey God and so they were destroyed to eliminate the false creations of the demons (see the paper The Nephilim (No. 154)).

The sequence of the process of dealing with Sin is in the process where not all people are entitled to a resurrection (The Resurrection (No. 143)), and very few are assigned to the First Resurrection (see Heaven. Hell of the First Resurrection of the Dead (No. 143A). Most of the entire earth is assigned to the Second Resurrection of the Dead at the end of the Thousand year reign of Christ (see the paper The Second Resurrection of the Dead and the Great White Throne Judgement (No. 143B).

God allowed the capacity to sin to the humans and also to the demons. The demons are also judged in the Great White Throne Judgment at the end of the Second Resurrection (see the paper Judgement of the Demons (No. 080)).

The problem as to why Evil exists is not an imputation against the Omnipotence or Omniscience of God, but rather a testimony as to how He can bring order out of chaos and allow free will to the creation and yet salvage it and restore the creation to its original purpose.  This aspect is explained in the paper The Problem of Evil (No. 118) and  also look at Forgeries and Mistranslations Relating to the Position of Christ (No. 164G)).

God has given us a creation with a clear set of rules in which to live and operate and if we decide to live within those rules we can still be salvaged from our own lawlessness and brought to the end result as sons of God (see the papers Law of God (L1)).

If you can’t see the purpose as laid out in the Bible then the problem lies with you and not with the Bible or with God.

Most people say “we have called Christ lord but he has done nothing for us” or “we have still suffered this evil.” The Bible is quite clear in Romans 8 where Paul said that
[18] I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. [19] For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God;
[20] for the creation was subjected to futility, not of its own will but by the will of him who subjected it in hope; [21] because the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and obtain the glorious liberty of the children of God. [22] We know that the whole creation has been groaning in travail together until now; [23] and not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. [24] For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? [25] But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience. [26] Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with sighs too deep for words. [27] And he who searches the hearts of men knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.  [28] We know that in everything God works for good with those who love him, who are called according to his purpose.

It is important that we all know that in God all things works together for the good for those who love him and are called according to HIS purpose.  You have to obey God (and the faith and Testimony of Jesus Christ) and you have to be called according to His purpose.  Those people are identified from the foundation of the earth. They are called into the Body of Christ either as prophets from before the Incarnation or as baptised members in the Holy Spirit from the Resurrection and Pentecost of 30CE.
See also the paperPredestination (No. 296).

[29] For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the first-born among many brethren. [30] And those whom he predestined he also called; and those whom he called he also justified; and those whom he justified he also glorified. [31]What then shall we say to this? If God is for us, who is against us?

If you wish to be in the First Resurrection there are stringent requirements.  Everyone else is in the Second Resurrection. Anyone who fails to keep the Commandments of God and the Faith and Testimony of Jesus Christ (Rev. 12:17; 14:12) is in the Second Resurrection.  No one goes to heaven.  God and the Host come here after the Second Resurrection and Great White Throne Judgment.  For those whom God has called according to His purpose all things work together for the good.  Everyone else has chosen their path and they will be resurrected in the Second Resurrection and we will teach all the truth and bring them to their destiny as spirit beings .

You can all believe what you like and do what you like according to the laws of your nations.  Don’t blame God for what you choose to do.  We don’t care if you are Atheists or Buddhists or Muslims or Jews or Trinitarian Sunday worshippers or Jehovah Witnesses or Adventists or Armstrong Sabbatarians keeping Hillel or Karaites or Animists or whatever.  When it is time to deal with you, you will be gathered by the Spirit and you will do what you are told or you will die until the Second Resurrection and then you will be part of that great teaching exercise and at the end of it all those that do not wish to be Sons of God will simply die and be burned in the Lake of Fire at the end of it.

You have been given a choice, do not blame God for your exercise of free will.
