Sabbath Message 10/5/38/120

Dear Friends,

On  4/12/34/120 I wrote another message regarding the food laws and the failure of our people and also Islam to comprehend the importance of the food laws and that Islam was ignoring the Biblical food laws and as enshrined in the Koran.

Since then we have also seen that modern pseudo-Islam is claiming the unclean fish as Halal in AU fish shops and restaurants and they are providing a campaign of disinformation to undermine the true Biblical food laws.  They are also being assisted in this by uneducated vegetarians who eat some fish and many who eat shellfish.  The SDAs know enough not to be sucked in by that scam.

Modern Vegetarians and Vegans are following the doctrines of demons in the Last Days (see The Doctrines of Demons of the Last Days (No .48)) and encouraging this aberration and they need to be dealt with over the misinformation they provide.  The origins and heresy of Vegetarianism is ancient and has been explained in the paper Vegetarianism (No. 183).

It was pointed out then in 2011 that the scientists are only now finding out what we have been telling them for centuries.  Crustaceans are not to be eaten and in fact have massive impact on the environment.

The purpose of the humble prawn is to provide a food source for the fish stocks higher up in the food chain.  The prawn or shrimp absorbs heavy metals and distributes them throughout its body.  It is not meant to be eaten by humans.  Nor are lobsters which have a similar effect.  Neither are shell foods such as scallops or clams or oysters meant to be eaten.

The Biblical food laws are covered in Leviticus chapter 11 and in Deuteronomy chapter 14. The basic science behind the food laws is covered in the paper The Food Laws (No. 15).

If we all kept the Laws of God as laid down in the Bible there would not be a shortage of fish stocks or seafood. Also we would not suffer from the gastro-intestinal diseases spread by shell fish.

The major damage to the environment is often done by Muslims or Buddhists who simply ignore or are unaware of the laws of God. Much of the damage is done by Asian societies in a coastal or marine environment.

Scientists are finding that the humble prawn when farmed in coastal environments has the greatest carbon footprint of all animals. In environmental terms it is the most costly part of a meal.

The problem with Islam is that it only looks at the Koran and ignores the Bible where the food laws from the Koran are derived.  So they ignore the injunctions against sea food as it does not repeat this in the Koran.

If the seafood is produced on a typical Asian fish farm, a 100-gram (3.5 ounce) serving "has an ecosystem carbon footprint of an astounding 198 kilograms of CO2," said biologist J. Boone Kauffman who is based at Oregon State University and conducts research in Indonesia.

A 454-gram (one pound) bag of frozen prawns produces one ton of carbon dioxide, according to Kauffman. He informed the American Association for the Advancement of Science that he developed the comparison to help the public understand the environmental impact of land use decisions.

Kauffman said 50 to 60 percent of prawn farms are located in tidal zones in Asian countries, mostly on cleared mangrove forests.

In a paper he released to Agence France Presse he wrote: "The carbon footprint of the shrimp (prawn) from this land use is about 10-fold greater than the land use carbon footprint of an equivalent amount of beef produced from a pasture formed from a tropical rainforest." This was not including emissions from farm development, feeds, supplements, processing, storing and shipping.

The farms are inefficient, producing just one kilogram of prawns for 13.4 square meters of mangrove, while the ponds created are abandoned in just three to nine years because disease, soil acidification and contamination destroy them, he wrote.

After abandonment, the soil takes 35 to 40 years to recover, he said.

Emily Pidgeon of Conservation International said intact mangrove forests are of value in protecting the coastal ecosystems and communities against storms and tsunamis, such as the Indian Ocean tsunami in 2004 that killed some 230,000 people.

The problem, she said, is the value of intact mangroves is hard to measure, and most of the prawn farms are in impoverished areas that cannot easily afford conservation.

"It's difficult to find the financing to do it, or the political will," she said, adding Kauffman's carbon measurements provide another argument in favour of protection.

The impact of food production on the environment is part of the relatively new field in science and economics called ecosystem services, which uses models to measure the value to human communities, in economic terms, of forests, grassland, waterways and even the air.

"To present how deforestation and land cover change contribute to global climate change in a comprehensible manner, we change the scale of greenhouse gas emissions from global to personal scales," wrote Kauffman.

The article at: http://www.news.com.au/technology/sci-tech/tiny-shrimp-leave-giant-carbon-footprint/story-fn5fsgyc-1226274478239#ixzz1mhcALxnb has more information.

The real problem is that people do not understand the impact of what they do on the environment and if they did they would not eat the way they do and they would follow the Bible food laws. More importantly Muslims would wake up to themselves and stop their blasphemy regarding the laws of God and the Bible and reorganise their food consumption and properly educate their people.

The failure to study the Biblical law in relation to the Koran is the greatest single heresy (aside from their false calendar) that modern pseudo-Muslims commit. See also the Hebrew and Islamic Calendar Reconciled (No. 053).

The world simply cannot go on as it is and especially not as it has under Islam in the Middle East and Africa and South and South East Asia.
