Dear Friends,

This message is written to assist our brethren dealing with the Ditheist errors of the WCG Offshoots and in this case LCG.  Our officer for the French speaking Caribbean based in Martinique wrote this text so that we could add another aspect to the understanding of the nature of God in the Offshoots.  We examined the aspect of their praying to Christ in the main message and how that is a heresy never endorsed in the Bible Text and the exclamation of Stephen in Acts 7 is misrepresented in that regard. We have also dealt with the error on the nature of God introduced to the Worldwide Church of God and its offshoots by Herbert Armstrong. The doctrine is examined in the paper Ditheism (No. 076B) and also the doctrines of the god Attis that entered Christianity in the Second and Third century so that Trinitarianism was formed in the Fourth at Constantinople in 381 CE.  They elevated Christ to be equal to God and made the other elohim or sons of God to be inferior beings in order to construct the doctrine of the Binitarian God (see the paper Binitarian and Trinitarian Misuse of the Early Theology of the Godhead (No. 127B)).  This problem is also found in UCG to varying extent.
 
Joel was pleased to be able to contribute and sent the testimony in his words which translated said he was happy as to the testimony “that I can bring for the brothers and sisters. My brothers of LCG firmly believe that Christ is God as God is God. All believe that Christ is simply a part of God. When I left LCG, while in a club of speakers, I shared with my brothers there the reason for my departure. I spoke that day of Christ, telling them that Christ was an angel of God, a messenger, a son of God. At the end of the club my brothers told me I did not understand John 1: 1, because this verse explains everything. We had the opportunity to meet again for a study on the Godhead and the New Moon. All without result. Why? Because I was the one [in their view] who had lost the understanding. Some even said that there was no evidence that Christ celebrated the New Moon. For the brothers God is a family of only two persons at the moment. Angels are considered as inferior beings, and not as sons of God. Since then there have been many sermons and sermonettes on the subject. You know what is most alarming, brothers and sisters of LCG are sincere and gave their lives to the church and think they are in the truth. But they do not realize they follow the doctrines of men, and not the doctrines of God.

If this message can encourage the brothers to read, to study, to consult, to examine anything like the apostle Paul said, I would be happy.

May Father Eloah listen to our prayers so that he releases them as he tells us in Ezekiel 34:10 ‘Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them.’”

The glaring difference is that the doctrines are not the same in LCG all over the French work.  For example the church in Martinique is preaching prayer to Christ as well as God and in Montreal they have told us that definitely they do not pray to or worship Christ.  Yet both groups have stalwart Biblical Unitarians that reject the Ditheist/ Binitarians and wish to keep the correct calendar. So also are they in UCG but more so in LCG.

Pray that God tears the veils from their eyes and ears that they might see and hear and understand and so turn and be saved.
