Dear Friends,

We are now faced with the escalation of the conflict in Gaza due to the increasing rocket fire by Hamas over Israel.  The pretence was the killing of a Palestinian boy by three Jewish Israelis for the murder of three Israeli Jews by Palestinians previously. The murder of the Arab resulted in Arab riots inside Israel. The Jewish murderers of the Palestinian were arrested and face trial. This silly tit for tat criminal behaviour is not an excuse for these radicals in Hamas to initiate war, and as a result the Israelis are now faced with launching an invasion of Gaza.

It is a matter of pure logic that if one persists in firing rockets into one’s neighbour’s area trying to kill his people indiscriminately sooner or later the neighbour will go to the authorities and if they will not stop the activity then the neighbour will retaliate on his own resources.

Hatred of Judah is at the base of all Islamic activity over the centuries directed at them and the aim of genocide is plainly and openly spoken.  It is for this reason that the Hadithic Muslims pretend that the Bible has been lost and that the Laws of God can be ignored.  What sort of a god would lose his own instruction manuals or change them over time?  The proposition is logically absurd. The Bible prophecies are being fulfilled and the Arabs are furious about it. The only weapon they have is to cease and repent or face destruction.  They will not repent and thus force their people to face military destruction.  Scripture cannot be broken and the Bible prophecies cannot be stopped or thwarted as Christ so clearly stated (Jn. 10:34-36).

Israel killed 30 people, including six women and nine children, in the new confrontation and Operation protective Edge has killed 57 people to date.

Benjamin Netanyahu is bent on ploughing ahead with the confrontation and 40,000 reservists have been called up for an imminent invasion of the Gaza territory. Hamas is hoping it will mobilise Arab support against Israel and divert Sunni-Shia conflict elsewhere.  Hamas has launched longer range weapons against Tel Aviv and Jerusalem and as far north as Haifa.

The more moderate President Shimon Peres has said that it appears that if the fire continues the military invasion of Gaza may occur... quite soon.  Israeli hardliners quite forcefully point out that the withdrawal of all forces from Gaza in 2005 has been unfruitful.

The sequence of action is clearly provoking a major conflict which will see Gaza invaded and Hamas destroyed militarily and their operatives imprisoned indefinitely.  It is a matter of Bible prophecy that the king of the North, after the final wars to the North and East of Jerusalem, will return and occupy the lands from the Mediterranean to and including Jerusalem.  This prophecy was given by God to Daniel and is recorded at Daniel 11:40-45.  He will be forced to enter the Middle East by war activities there and he will occupy the area of Palestine but not that of Jordan from the North to the far South including the areas of the Edomites who are now part of Judah. Egypt till come under NATO direction as will all Muslim areas to the West from Lybia onwards and to the South from Ethiopia.  This invasion will be forced by the very activities of these Muslim fanatics themselves and they refuse to see it; even to the point of denying the very words of Scripture.

The Palestinians cannot defy Scripture.  They will live in peace according to God’s law or they will be forced by the power of God to live in peace.  No one can stop the prophesied plan of God.  Tanks and troops mass on the Gaza border and they still do not understand.

In the end they will force the occupation of Gaza by the Northern Armies, and they still don’t get it. When that happens, the forces to the North and East of Israel will mass and then the Northern force will go out to utterly exterminate many then return to govern the world for 42 months during which time they will face the Two Witnesses (see the paper The Witnesses (including the Two Witnesses ) ( No. 135)). 

However, if you pretend it’s not there and you can’t see it perhaps it won’t happen.  That is the mindlessness of modern Hadithic Islam. Their god is reportedly too weak to preserve his own instruction manual.  However the God of the Bible, the One True God Eloah, is linguistically the God of the Qur’an Allah’. They are simply names from two branches of the same language. The Koran or Qur’an is a commentary on the Bible as was the NT before it. It merely deals with the events in the Church of God in Arabia during the Seventh Century CE.  God does not change His own laws or lose His instructions to mankind.

The civil war in Syria and also in Iraq is seeing these Islamist forces desperately trying to divert attention and concentrate the Islamic forces in a war against Israel to save the Shia forces in Iraq and Syria, with the support of Hezbollah in Lebanon. The effort will fail and Scripture tells us that in the Last Days the Assyrians will come out of the North hand in hand with Israel and they will occupy the lands north of the Euphrates.  Israel will extend from the Euphrates south through Lebanon and Syria through Jordan and Israel and Edom to the river of Egypt. It will be one nation from which the entire world will be ruled under Christ for one thousand years and all nations will send their representatives to Jerusalem at the Feast of Tabernacles each year to receive instruction on government and religious direction (Zech. 14:16-19).  Those that do not keep the Sabbaths and New Moons and Feasts will die (Isa. 66:23). If it is not by drought it will be by plague as experienced in the plagues of Egypt.

As each day draws on the coming of the Messiah draws nearer.
