Dear Friends

The Church of Scotland has now paved the way for Sodomites and Lesbians etc to become ministers of their denominations.  It has already caused a division in the church but what is really happening is that the harlot daughters of the whore are being forced back into the Church of Rome.

It says it is not doing so but it has taken an opt out policy so that parishes can decide if they want homosexuals i.e. gays or lesbians to be ministers.

The official report says “The Church of Scotland's ruling General Assembly has voted to open the way to allowing actively gay men and women to become ministers.

The vote affirms Church policy that the only appropriate expression of sexual activity should be in a marriage between a man and woman.

However, it allows liberal parishes to opt out of that policy.”

The decision still has to be endorsed by the church's regional presbyteries and officially confirmed at next year's meeting.

The church, or Kirk as it is known, has been split since the first openly gay minister was appointed four years ago.

That move caused a small number of congregations to break away from the church.

The decision puts the Kirk at odds with the Church of England, which allows bishops to be gay, but only if celibate.

Scottish gay rights campaigners praised the move but the Free Church of Scotland called it a fudge.

Church leaders were expected to vote for one of three options: to reject the ordination of gay men and women as ministers, to allow their ordination or to allow their ordination but with the option for individual congregations to opt out.

In the end, the Church voted for a fourth proposal put forward by the Very Reverend Albert Bogle. Rev Bogle's motion to "affirm the Church's historic and current doctrine and practice in relation to human sexuality, [but] nonetheless permit those Kirk Sessions who wish to depart from that doctrine and practice to do so" was carried with 340 votes in favour to 282 against.

As might be expected the LGBT community hailed it as step forward and a 21st century improvement. The 19th century split, The Free Church of Scotland called the result totally confusing.  As Christ said in the last days it will be worse than the worst days of Sodom and Gomorrah.
