Sabbath 12/2/34/120

Dear Friends,

We have made an official request for funds in assistance in the distribution of seed and fertiliser.

The objective is to provide assistance to the agricultural communities in Africa.

CCG has an obligation to properly account for Church funds and for any other public or sponsorship funds given to it.

We have been investigated by national authorities to determine our operations and we have been given encouraging reviews on our efficiency and effectiveness of operations. To date we have never received any funds whatsoever as we have never previously requested any formal assistance. We have provided all assistance for our projects and aid programs from CCG international missionary funds and tithes.

The priority for assistance will be for heads of households, and for widows and single mothers as heads of households. All others will be assisted after those categories are assisted.

A project has just been funded for Congo Brazzaville but that was an internet project. Also the net projects are ongoing especially as the rains have arrived in the East. This message concerns the seed and fertiliser projects only however the limitations will carry over to all other projects.

CCG has just provided some assistance to Kenya at Lodwar and the north and other hard hit areas and also to Tanzania and to Zambia for seed and fertilisers this week for the rains. The next project will be for the year beginning 1 July and we will know if this is successful by 30 June 2011.

Be advised that we will only provide assistance to documented church groups and to those identified as being in the priority categories. If you have not filled in your fellowship forms and provided your ID then you will not be eligible for or receive any assistance. It is the responsibility of every coordinator to register his church group baptised members with the national and world membership secretaries. If your coordinator will not do it on time and you miss out on an assistance grant allocation then see your national coordinator and elect a new local coordinator that will carry out the documentation. The best solution is to make sure that you are registered before 30 June 2011 for assistance.

Remember also that you can only become eligible to be invited to voting membership when you are properly registered and have completed your trial period which does not begin until you have submitted the forms and the officers have signed them.

You will all also be required to sign for the allocations and they will be recorded. Receipts are required for everything.

There is no negotiation and no funds will be handed out until the fellowship documentation is in. Nations will only receive what they have documented for. So don’t make a fuss when you miss out because you have failed to document. This is a double harvest year but you have to do your bit to benefit from God’s Blessings.
