Sabbath 24/12/33/120 A

Dear Friends,

As you are aware there are serious problems in North Africa and the Middle East. Our people need prayers and our support in these troubling times. We have people in every one of the nations of North Africa in trouble and also in the Middle East in The Yemen, in Jordan, and now in Lebanon requesting induction.  Our people in the Horn in Eritrea, Djibouti, Somalia, and in Ethiopia and the Sudan, are subject to danger. So also are those in Morocco where is it more peaceful, in Algeria and Tunisia, Libya, and Egypt. We have no word of our people in Libya and we hope they are safe. The churches are scattered and the communication facilities are effectively closed down. Please pray for them all. We will need to assist them as necessary.

It is difficult to see how the regime in Libya can avoid massive charges of War Crimes based on what is happening. The results of the turmoil will unsettle the region for some time and the final results we know from Bible Prophecy. The insurgency is not of youth wishing to obtain a western style democracy. Do not think it is. The propping up of these dictatorial regimes by the West has effectively destroyed any cohesive concept or functioning system of dialogue or dissent. Our task is to be there ready to give an explanation of the true faith in the service of the One True God Eloah and lead these poor people through what is ahead of them. Pray for the officers and people and resources to do that.

Pray also for the inductions we have to do in the developing countries. There is just so much to do. The things that are happening to us are just amazing. We have to send Mudimba Muhindo the senior coordinator based in the Eastern Congo DR to induct churches in Congo Brazzaville and to Kinshasa and the adjoining province of Bas Congo. He has just returned from Bandungu inducting churches there and before that from Equateur, inducting ministers also from Mongala, Sud-Ubangi and Tshuapa Provinces and also for the churches in Kasai Occidental. Other officers have had to induct the churches in Northern Congo and in Katanga in the South.

To give us an idea of the sheer scale of the inductions and the hundreds of churches still awaiting induction the following is a list of the various churches that have sought induction from Kinshasa and Bas Congo (Lower Congo) this last month. This does not include the other various churches in Bandungu and the other provinces to the East and Southeast of Kinshasa.

They have been provided with A1s and are under instruction now regarding doctrines and also regarding the proper Temple Calendar.

This is a most extraordinary amalgam of churches that came together in alliance to be part of CCG and to simply return to and keep the original doctrines of the First Century Church. This desire to return to the First Century Doctrines is a strong motivation in the Congo and there were two movements before that attempted to achieve that but, like the Reformation, they never got back beyond Augustine of Hippo and they failed. Those two groups number one and two million people respectively. Once we grow to such an extent we will attract the people motivated by the same desires. That is when we will accelerate our growth yet again. Over the next few years we will consolidate all Sabbath-keeping groups in Africa as is happening now on an escalating basis. The Baptists are joining, and will continue to join us, and then the Protestants and the Catholics as they come under pressure, and also the Muslims will join us in conversion. There are at least seven or eight million current or past Sabbath-keepers in Africa and they are coming to us now in droves because they can identify correct doctrines free of errors such as those of E.G. White and Herbert Armstrong.

Please assist us in getting the funds to induct these churches and pray that God gives us enough tithe payers to support the growth.   For example the cyber cafes we helped fund in the Congo DR a few months ago have expanded and helped fund the induction in Bandungu and before that in Equateur along with support from Uganda and other nations. Angola funded their own photocopier for the big evangelisation program we have planned for there, with Uganda organising it and refurbishing it, and the US funded the transport. Malaysia funded the A1s for inductions and South Africa helped with the Botswana equipment and transport. As the nations get more established they are able to help other nations.

Let us hope and pray we can get enough together to fund the inductions there before Passover.

Coordinator General.
