Eric Stevenson flew to Angola on 14 -10-2010 and attended Sabbath at Camabatela Church and on 16 October started the seminar. On 20-10-2010 he baptized 62 people that came from 15 Churches and appointed the 15 Coordinators listed above.

They attended the Seminar at Camabatela City of Ambaca Municipality in the Cuanza Norte Province as it is the Home Province of Antonio David who was appointed as Senior Coordinator of CCG in Angola. All in attendance were very enthusiastic to be part of CCG. Eric explained to them how all CCG Ministers work as voluntaries/unpaid ministers. He also explained to them how to arrange themselves in self-development projects, dealing in small based projects to assist each other.

In Angola over recent years ago the wars killed many people and left others living in the poverty. The result is that many people in those areas are rebuilding and assisting in the development of others and many need to be supported. We understood that agriculture and fishing are productive in the areas of Angola and we encouraged those. They had already started some projects. The wife of CCG Angola Senior Coordinator is a president of the Fishing Rural Development Associations funded by our church members and now it is be working under CCG cooperation.

On 21 -10-2010 Eric visited our Church at Cassoneca Commune of Catete Municipality in the Province of Bengo He met there with the groups of youth who are members of CCG and some of them were in the seminar. They have a workshop of car spares and are dealing with operating vehicles. They are also training some youth in their workshop. Eric had spoken with youths who were not able to attend primary school but they are already trained to operate vehicles as the youth members of this workshop. There are 13 youths with 17 youths under training at the workshop. Eric noted that this workshop is helpful and very important as it is helping our youth to be self-supporting in their future development.

On the same evening Eric conducted a Bible meeting with these youths. They had an evening Bible Study taking about two hours.

The next day on 22-10-2010 Eric visited CCG Women’s Association at Caxito Commune of Dande Municipality in the Province of Bengo. These women are selling dried fish and they have told us that if they have enough investment they can be further developed in the near future. Eric noted that they made investments of $US500. The money was contributed by eight women and they have reported to us that each day the funds bring in a profit of $US13. By sharing the profit each day also the women have a planned sickness benefit scheme. If one of them is sick or made busy with her home tasks they report the matter to their executive committees with an explanation of the reason she was not able to work then she will be able to get her share from those who are available. We are interested in this project as it is very good as a job well created and well thought out, forming an insurance system so none of them would be hungry or in need.

The report of their activities was made to CCG World Conference. On the $US500 they are now using they are making a profit of $US13 a day. If they have $1000 USD they will be able to get $US26 per day and each woman will be able to get a share of $US3 per day. Eric noted that people there eat or live off $US1 per day. They can thus be able to save some school fees for their children and other bills of the home expenses if their investment was increased to $US1000. Such projects are important for them to develop. Tithing is also important in this regard.

On 23 – 10-2010 Eric attended Sabbath at Quibaxe Commune of Dembos Municipality in the Province of Cuanza Norte Province. The Church there has 126 people of all ages and it is very nice church. CCG Uganda provided $US32 as Eric saw fit to direct the expenditure in Angola Eric gave the donation to that church to help them to buy chairs as most of them were sitting down without chairs. He noted that the donation provided through the Secretary Odette in Uganda will buy enough wood for making sufficient chairs so that 60 people will be able be seated on chairs. The people were very thankful to Uganda.

From 24 -28-Oct 2010 they conducted a leadership seminar attended by those who were baptized. They have continued to get training in CCG doctrines and discussed the difference in doctrines that were important from CCG materials. The seminar was helpful to all who attended. The seminar was closed with the Ordination of Antonio David to the position of Deacon Evangelist and he will be used to do inductions in new areas there in Angola. They gave Eric many thanks for CCG World Conference in assisting them to get Office Materials, a Computer and Printer and for sending the Portuguese Translation Coordinator Mugabo Eric Stevenson to induct them.

Our national development is accelerating and it is important that we pray for its welfare and increasing inductions and development.
