It is claimed by so–called Christians that the Koran teaches that it is permitted to lie for the faith. Nothing could be further from the truth.

The Koran teaches that under no circumstances, is it permitted to lie for the faith.

The Koran teaches that the God of Moses is the God of the Koran: Surah 40:27. Moses says: “I have indeed called upon my Lord and your Lord (for protection) from every arrogant one who believes not on the day of account!”

The Gospel of Unity that Moses preached was that the God of Moses and the God of Pharaoh, of Israel and of Egypt, the Lord of all the worlds, was ONE,- the only True God. (see XX 49-50 and notes 2572 and 2573 (cf. The Qur’an Abdullah Yusuf Ali; XL: 27 fn 4395, p. 1270).

The guiding Surah for this matter of lying is Surah 40:28.

“A Believer, a man from among the people of Pharaoh, who had concealed his faith, said: “Will ye slay a man because he says, ‘My Lord is God’ – When he has indeed come to you with clear (signs) from your Lord? And if he is a liar, on him is (the sin of) his lie: But if he is telling the truth, then will fall on you something of the (calamity) of which he warns you: truly God guides not one who transgresses and lies!

The signs are signs of God’s guidance; for God would never guide a man who exceeds the bounds of truth and tells you lies (fn 4398). If a man is guided by truth God’s wrath will descend as it must descend if he is a true messenger sent by God (cf. fn. 4397).”

Some people who claim to be Muslims and lie are not Muslims, just as Christians who claim and do that are not Christians. Both types will be sent to the Second Resurrection with all other infidels and dealt with in turn. It is written: A false witness will not go unpunished.

Some liars who claim to be Christians and who think it is permissible to misrepresent what the Qur’an says to advance their Trinitarian or Binitarian faith have claimed that the Qur’an permits lies. This surah shows plainly it does not permit lies and the translators clearly understand that lies are not permitted to Islam or to the people of the Bible. The quote that has been seen to be used by these liars is Surah 3: which is the Family of ‘Imran. In verse 35 it reads “Behold a Woman of ‘Imran said O my Lord! I do. Unbelievers rather than believers. If any do that, in nothing will there be help from God: except by way of precaution, that you may guard yourselves from them. But God cautions you (to remember) Himself; for the final Goal is to God.”  

The family of Imran are the lines of Levi from the father of Moses and Aaron and the reference is to the family of Christ cousin of John the Baptist son of Zechariah and Elisabeth cousin of Mariam the mother of Christ (Abdullah Yusuf Ali makes extensive note to that effect in fn. 375).

Thus the condemnation in Surah 3 is to all those who claim to be believers in the Christ and the faith and are not genuine because in that unbelief there will be no help from God except that the true believers will be given caution so that they may guard themselves from them. That is from the deceivers. Liars under such circumstances are clearly condemned.

Later writers have written to claim it is permissible to lie to others such as Christians.
 
“The book "The spirit of Islam," by the Muslim scholar, Afif A. Tabbarah was written to promote Islam. On page 247, Tabbarah stated: "Lying is not always bad, to be sure; there are times when telling a lie is more profitable and better for the general welfare, and for the settlement of conciliation among people, than telling the truth. To this effect, the Prophet says: 'He is not a false person who (through lies) settles conciliation among people, supports good or says what is good."

This false teaching attributed to the prophet by this infidel Tabbarah and used by the dishonesty of the person who constructed the web to promote it is an abomination misusing the Bible and the Koran and the faith of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob http://www.islamreview.com/articles/lying.html.

The lies that emanate from nations in time of war are not to be believed and nor are they permitted by the faith of the Bible or the Koran. Sadat’s broken oath between the 1967 war and the Yom Kippur War is just that; a broken oath made as a ruse to keep Israel on war alert and for domestic political purposes. 

Any person who says that it is permissible to lie to a member of another faith either Christian or Muslim or Jew with the purpose of deceiving them and extending your own faith by such deceit is a liar and an infidel and they have no part in the First Resurrection and will be subject to correction in the Resurrection of Judgment. 

Any one that says that either the Koran or the Bible teaches it is permissible to lie is a liar and the truth is not in them (Isa. 8:20).  

The Hadith claims the prophet taught that it was permissible to lie but the Hadith is a compilation of false-hood claiming to be sayings of the prophet which stand contrary to the Bible and the Koran and therefore must be false.

This is the position of the Hadith: From "Ehiaa Oloum al-Din," by the Islamic scholar al-Ghazali, Vol. 3: pp.284-287:
One of Mohammed's daughters, Umm Kalthoum, testified that she had never heard the apostle of Islam condone lying, except in these three situations:

1. For reconciliation among people.
2. In war.
3. Amongst spouses, to keep peace in the family.

The Hadith quotes Mohammed as saying: "The sons of Adam are accountable for all lies except those uttered to help bring reconciliation between Muslims."

Another passage says, "Aba Kahl, reconcile among people."(allegedly meaning: even through lying.)

The Hadith asserts the prophet permitted lying thus: "The sons of Adam are accountable for all lies with these exceptions: During war because war is deception, to reconcile among two quarrelling men, and for a man to appease his wife."  It is true that war is deception and is a state of sin. It is also true that men have been known to tell their wives they look beautiful in appeasing them. It must be remembered that the Hadith is not a work of the faith and is used by Imams to mislead the faith and to promote hostility and war among peoples. That is directly opposite of the purpose of the Faith of Eloah the God of the Scriptures and of Jesus Christ.

In like manner the Roman Catholics teach that contracts made with non Roman Catholics need not be honoured.  Not only have they taught that, they have taught that they may be killed whenever the need arises or when they fall into your hands. In basic words a Hadithic Muslim and a Trinitarian Christian is not a member of the faith of Eloah and Jesus Christ or Isa and they are infidels.

In the same way anyone that teaches that the God of the Koran is not the God of the Bible is a liar and there is no light in them. They are to be shunned as infidels. The Jews have been making that claim and trying to destroy Islam since they rose against them in the beginning between 610 CE and 632 CE just as they tried to destroy Christianity.

What is true is that the buildings of Islam and Christianity are the representations of demons and will be dismantled and destroyed by the Millennial system under Christ. One merely has to look at how they are built and the symbols of the crescent moon and the steeples and the obelisks that adorn them and the statues and phallic symbols and the female reproductive symbols of the moon God Sin are obvious for all to see.

These religions and their pagan symbols and idols will be wiped from the face the earth by the start of the Millennium. There is an iconoclastic resurgence about to occur which will smash the rocks of the earth in their idolatrous usage by these idolaters in Islam and in Christianity and in Hinduism and Buddhism and all forms of Animism. This resurgence is not far off. It will do more harm to the rocks than to people but it will occur. By the Millennium there will not be a minaret or a steeple or an obelisk or an idol left standing on the planet.
