Sabbath 20/5/33/120

Dear Friends

Today we provide more updates from Africa.

Walter Okello has written in as follows:

This year God has really done a lot for the growth of the church in Africa, I have just returned from Liberia where I inducted 29 new churches and there are 7 to be inducted this Sabbath. We have also been growing very well in Kenya where we have more than 20 new former SDA groups joining us in the past week.

In Ethiopia, our National Coordinator Moses Hadi has been doing a great job and we now have some 50 churches in Ethiopia and many more to come soon. In Mozambique our coordinator Jack Mano has just returned from inducting 4 more new groups and he also believes that there are still more to come.

Our growth in the Congo DR is amazing and we are taking control of [Eastern] Congo, Bizimana is also doing a great job in Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi, We thank God for everything that He has done and we also thank the World Conference and CCG members in America and all the CCG members in the world for their support morally and financially.

We are thinking of expanding different projects in Africa and we still need your support to help us do all these. We need to expand on dairy projects, poultry projects, fishing projects and many other projects that we are doing in different parts of Africa. Thank you all very much. May God bless you and may you have a good preparation for the feast.

At World Conference we also have received a report in from Niyonzima Jean Paul in Kivu who has just returned safely from inducting  25 churches in Maniema province Congo DR. Bizimana and Theophile are inducting another 21 and 17 Churches in Uganda respectively.

They have difficulties there in Maniema. They will undertake cabbage projects there soon so Jean Paul reports. We also need to get a computer and monitor and printer there to commence the Bible training programs and education programs. There is a lot of conflict there also.

Fredrick Yamo Senior Coordinator of Liberia is to go to induct another five churches in the Gambia next week or so.

Our heavy duty copier has arrived in CAR and the missionary work using the A1 will start this week ahead.

CCG is preparing for registration in Madagascar. Jean-Alphonse is working there with Justome to get things prepared.

A new series of churches came in yesterday requesting membership in Kenya. We are getting good responses and a lot of requests for membership.

All members are warned that a group are using a false url to approach and spread fictitious reports about CCG Officers, attempting to defame them. The url purports to be a CCG Tanzania url and uses a yahoo.com email address. Please report any incidents. This is a criminal offence.

The matter is being investigated in conjunction with a COG offshoot whose members appear to be involved.

We are watching the progress with interest as CCG continues to grow.

Mrs. Moses Hadi is out of hospital and is on medication. Thank you all for your prayers.  Please keep the officers all in your prayers.

Coordinator General
