Sabbath Message Update 18/2/33/120

Dear Friends,

The following is the report in response to the request for assistance for the group of churches that came in to Northern Uganda in necessitous circumstances. There were 1840 people that were in necessitous circumstances and the officers and many of the brethren were without clothes.

This report was sent from the Senior Coordinator in Uganda Mr. Bizimana Bosco.

What is not on this report but on the secretaries report was the report that we have started a shoemaking facility with officers now under training as shoemakers. We expect to have the shoe factory operational at end 2010-2011.

It should be noted that the support was sent from all over Uganda and from the other nations and from tribes that not long ago were more or less uncooperative if not hostile.  They are helping one another now as brothers and sisters in Christ and it is a pleasure to see. The assistance is ongoing. More has been sent from the other churches to get more things going for these people. You will note that the churches are now self funding to get their officers to conferences and in training seminars. An additional report was provided listing the orphans in the Northern groups that were equipped and placed in school with their fees paid from the Ugandan tithes and the Senior Coordinators and the Secretary funded much of the money from tithes and donations.

Uganda is also helping with the publications and training of the most massive induction we have done to date of over 400 churches, which is underway in the Congo DR at Bunia with branches in Beni and Goma and in the CAR and Angola. We also have inductions in Kenya and Zimbabwe and in Mozambique and in Zambia and Malawi. Next week we have inductions in Tripura, Assam, and other NE Indian States and in Bangladesh.
