Sabbath 4/2/33/120

Dear Friends,

This week we have had even more startling developments. As I had mentioned to you we had been approached by some 115 churches in NE India. They have come back to us unconditionally and say they have studied the Statement of Beliefs and the Constitution and they desire to join us. Alan Brach the Coordinator for South Asia will be going to Tripura to baptise and induct the ministry. There was another group in Andhra Pradesh but we are unable to continue with the group.

We will now set up the work in NE India in the languages there. Please pray for the success of the people and the work. The largest element of the groups there is of Tibeto-Burmese origin. There are over one million in the Reang tribe alone. The churches are working on their conversion from animism.

On the day of the New Moon in their location group administrators contacted us from NE Congo with some 200 groups. They had 168 churches in the NE Congo alone. It appears that they saw our church signs in Bunia and wanted to know more about us. They began studying our materials and were convicted by them. They have written and we will send our coordinators from Bunia and NE Congo and Uganda to induct them. There are the 21 still to be inducted at Goma.

So far this year we will have inducted 500 churches in less than two months (five weeks so far) and that appears to be accelerating. It went from over 100 to 200 then 300 a month and now 100 churches a week.

The Church of God has never seen such growth. In just five weeks God has sent us more churches than the WCG managed to compile in over fifty years. We did not spend one cent in advertising and we did not use any white evangelists in the process. It was done by Africans and Indians themselves, using our Western and Asian administration to assist. We have over 2000 officers now. This month we will probably baptise 60,000 people. The administration cannot keep up with the records.

We are awaiting reports from Jack Mano in Mozambique. He is inducting groups and more are joining as he progresses. Walter has done the groups in Coastal and Eastern province, Kenya, and on Thursday he went to visit Pascal at Bungoma to baptise over 70 new members into the Body of Christ at the church at Bungoma. John has done more groups at Malawi and Tito has just inducted another series of SDAs at Lake Natron in Tanzania. Peter Luso is to submit reports on the inductions in Zimbabwe and Zambia. He went to assist Vusa the senior coordinator in Zimbabwe who is ill. Please pray for him. Theophile is doing more inductions in Northern Uganda.

It is wonderful to see what is happening in CCG and the sheer magnitude of the new converts to the faith and also the consolidation of the existing Churches of God.

It has been a great witness to the faith and it is all growing exponentially. One of the officers, who was ex-WCG, observed that we have more churches in one region of one country in Africa now than WCG had in the entire world.

Please pray for our funding, development, growth and consolidation throughout the world. God is adding to us mightily. Please also pray for our churches throughout Islamic nations. Morocco is clamping down on Christian growth and baptisms so our officers inform us and it is more and more difficult everywhere.
