We are constantly confronted with many so-called ”Christians”. Many are preaching doctrines of demons such as vegetarianism or, even worse, veganism. There are vegans in prison for manslaughter because they refused to give their infant anything but soy formula and refused even though they were told they were killing their child. They continued with the soy formula and allowed the infant to die and were charged and imprisoned. The woman was pregnant and stated they were going to do the same again. They don’t seem to understand that their thinking capacities are affected.

Vegetarianism requires food supplements to ensure a healthy existence. The human brain is not meant to function properly on a vegetarian diet. Vegetarians in the SDA ministry in Australia were tested by their own medical staff, and 77% were found nutritionally deficient. In Africa and other developing nations, where no one can afford the supplements, it is a death sentence.  No one is to be permitted in CCG that teaches this heresy. It is a direct attack on God and the system He set in place.

Many do not seem to understand the implications of the unbiblical theological rubbish of Ellen G. White. They wrest Scripture to preserve their theological errors. Look also at the paper The Millennium and the Rapture (No. 095) for a discussion of many other errors. They teach a heavenly millennium to avoid the Scriptures that show clearly that meat will be killed and consumed under the rule of Jesus Christ, and that they will be keeping the New Moons and Feasts of God in the Millennium or they will die (see Zech. 14:16-21; Isa. 66:23). Most people do not understand that there will be no negotiation under the rule of Jesus Christ. You obey the laws of God or you die, it is that simple. If you irrigate and are not rain dependent you will die of plague, as did Egypt.

We have refused admission to CCG to thousands of these people over the years. Many groups have tried more than once to join us. There are a number of papers that deal with these errors and heresies. Look at the papers Vegetarianism and the Bible (No. 183), Wine in the Bible (No. 188) and The Doctrines of Demons of the Last days (No. 48). In all cases people seem to equate the abstaining from meats as righteousness. To do that they also impugn the purity of meats and, in many cases, the food and drug administration in the US allows the contamination of meats. To avoid contaminated meats simply buy range-fed meat and avoid all feed lot meat with hormone and antibiotic contaminants. Eat sheep meats and you will usually avoid contaminants. The great heresies in the last days are the abstention from meats that were created to be received with thanksgiving. Also the discouragement of marriage is another factor in these extended doctrines of demons.  We are finding that we are approached constantly by Adventists and former Adventists that do not understand that what they do and teach is heresy. They resent the fact that we will not allow people to join us that will not partake of the bread and wine at Passover. They seem to think that they will enter the Kingdom of God without the symbols of the body and blood of Christ. They have somehow convinced many people that drinking so-called “soda” is more righteous than having a glass of wine. These people would refuse Christ baptism in their churches.

The Doctrines emanating from the churches in the US are getting stranger and more Gnostic.

We are now seeing Gnostic doctrines taught from the US on an ongoing basis. They disregard the laws of other countries and teach their heretical rubbish all over the world. We discovered recently that one group was using a number of US groups to promote erroneous doctrines.
The major thrust of the doctrines now emanating from the US-based religion business is directly Gnostic. Any one that teaches that when they die they go to heaven is NOT a Christian. They are Gnostics. That has always been the test of a true Christian.

Justin Martyr said in 154 CE : “For if you have fallen in with some who are called Christians, but who do not admit this [truth], and venture to blaspheme the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob; who say there is no resurrection of the dead, and that their souls, when they die, are taken to heaven; do not imagine that they are Christians, even as one if he would rightly consider it, would not admit that the Sadducees or similar sects of the Genistae, Meristae, Galileans, Hellenists, Pharisees, Baptists are Jews (do not hear me impatiently when I tell you what I think), but are called Jews and children of Abraham, worshipping God with the lips, as God Himself declared, but the heart was far from Him. But I and others who are right-minded Christians on all points, are assured that there will be a resurrection of the dead, and a thousand years in Jerusalem, which will then be built, adorned and enlarged, as the prophets Ezekiel, Isaiah and others declare.” (Dial. Trypho lxxx) (cf. also Rev. ch. 20).

In the Church of God this issue was the crucial test, the shibboleth, of those who were true Christians who believed in the Resurrection and the imposters who were Gnostics and believed that when they died they went to heaven.  The imposters attempted to do away with the laws of God. However, the NT is clear that the elect or saints of God are those who keep the Commandments of God and the Testimony or faith of Jesus Christ (Rev. 12:17; 14:12).

We have heard many Trinitarian ministers in the US declare that Antichrist will restore the laws of Moses and construct a Temple in Jerusalem. They turn around the exact statements of the Scriptures that declare what Christ will do on his return to the earth, to declare him as the Antichrist. It was Christ that gave the law to Israel through Moses at Sinai. That was understood as fact in the early Church, and the Bible states it as fact in 1Corinthians 10:4.

It is written that: “if they do not speak according to the law and the Testimony there is no light in them” (Isa. 8:20.). Christ said that Scripture cannot be broken (Jn. 10:34-35).

These Gnostic imposters also teach the doctrines of the worship of the god Attis, as developed from the Council of Constantinople in 381 CE. The history of its development is found at the paper Binitarian and Trinitarian Misrepresentation of the Early Theology of the Godhead (No. 127b).

It was Attis that was a Binitarian God that came to earth and was castrated by the goddess Rhea. He was portrayed as a long-haired, fair-headed Japhethite because he was a god of the Roman Celts. His priests were all celibate and some castrated themselves in his worship. He was killed on a stake made into a sun cross. He was killed on a Friday and resurrected by the mother goddess from Hades on a Sunday. His advocates paraded his long-haired, effeminate image on a cross around Rome, flagellating themselves. By the fourth century his priests were complaining that the Christians in Rome had stolen all their doctrines. The long-haired, effeminate idol you see in every Trinitarian place of worship is NOT Jesus Christ, it is Attis. Christ was a Jew that polled his hair in accordance with the Bible and did not have long hair. The goddess that you see named Maria or Mary is not the mother of Jesus Christ. His mother was named Mariam; his aunt, the wife of Clophas was named Maria. The goddess with the heart and a pomegranate in her hand is the mother consort of Attis or Baal or whatever the mystery cults choose to name him. That is why you never hear them mention the name of Attis and nor do you ever see the doctrines of this demon taught in any school. Once they taught the truth it would become obvious whom they worship and people would leave them in droves. Among the Greeks he was a gentler form called Adonis and among the Egyptians it was Osiris. The mother with the infant child paraded every 25 December was the sun god at his ascendency after the winter solstice in the north. It was most prolific in Egypt. The goddess was called Cybele, Rhea, Kubaba, Demeter, Isis, Easter among the Anglo-Saxons, and Ashtoreth in the Bible as the consort of Baal. The festival of Attis and the goddess-mother lover is Easter with the Friday Crucifixion essential to the festival and that is why the festival is postponed to the next weekend when the 14th of Abib falls on the Saturday or Sunday. The Hillel Calendar of the Jews, introduced in 358 CE, makes sure it never keeps the Passover except when impossible to avoid by following the Babylonian system of intercalations determined from the Babylonian New Year in Teshritu or Tishri at Rosh Hashanah, which did not enter Judaism until the third century. In the Biblical Calendar it is the Seventh Month and not the New Year but the Jews have corrupted the Calendar completely (see the paper Distortion of God’s Calendar in Judah (No. 195b).

Christ was nailed to a stauros or sharpened stake on Wednesday 5 April 30 CE and died at 3 p.m. on that day, and was placed in the tomb by sundown on that day and spent three days and three nights in the body of the earth. He was resurrected on Saturday evening and waited all night and ascended into heaven at 9 a.m. on Sunday morning as the Wave Sheaf offering, the first of the first fruits, so that we might have salvation in our due time at Pentecost as the Wheat harvest 50 days later at 9 a.m. on the First Day of the week called Sunday, when the Holy Spirit descended upon us.

The Churches of God that have adopted Binitarianism or Trinitarianism in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries have done voluntarily what their forbears resisted to the death under torture. They have sold out the faith for the worship of a false god and denied the true nature of the Christ who died to save them and the One True God who sent him (Jn. 17:3). These doctrines are not to be found among us, and anyone who attempts to teach and advocate these heresies is to be removed immediately. Such people are not to be listened to anywhere.
