Sabbath Message by Wade Cox

Sabbath 27/1/30/120

Dear Friends,

Well, we are all safely back now from the Passover. The reports are that all have had a wonderful and spiritually rewarding time. It was however, reported to us that in one nation two women refused to wash one another’s feet at the Passover ceremony. That action is of the wrong spirit and must never be tolerated at any Passover of CCG anywhere.

The Passover is a time of reconciliation and peace. Unleavened Bread is to prepare us for the build-up to Pentecost and the removal of sin and the old leaven of malice and wickedness from us (see the paper The Old and the New Leaven (No.106a)). With the new leaven of sincerity and truth we prepare for the leavened loaves of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost.

The Wave Sheaf Offering is the marker to begin the count. This year the Wave Sheaf fell on the last Holy Day, or Sunday, of the Feast so Pentecost this year will fall, as it sometimes does, on the same day as the Trinitarian Pentecost, which is counted from the pagan Easter Sunday (see the paper The Origins of Christmas and Easter (No. 235)).

It would be of advantage to review the paper Pentecost at Sinai (No. 115). That work will give us all a further understanding of what happened there when Christ began to give the Law to Moses. The sequence of the giving of the Law is discussed in the paper The Ascents of Moses (No 70).

The codification of the Law into the Pentateuch forms the basis of the Bible. Indeed, on the Two Great Commandments hang all the Law and the prophets.

One of the sad things about some professed adherents of Christianity is that they resist the codification of right doctrine and hold the view that the Bible does not need to be explained, and doctrine does not need to be established. The same people then engage in a gabfest of endless hair-splitting and doing nothing.

We have the Statement of Beliefs (A1) and Constitution (A2) to protect us from those who are ever studying but never coming to an understanding of the truth. They are disruptive and a vexation to the Spirit.

We are bound together by a common faith and a common belief in God and the Messiah. We accept that not all people might agree but we seek peace in a common faith. We merely ask that our right to assemble in the Faith is respected.

We should give thanks for the fact that most of us live in countries where our rights to our beliefs are respected whilst we are law-abiding citizens. Some nations are not as fortunate as others in the rights of assembly and their rights to belief are not protected.

Recently some Serbian war criminals were sentenced and even the President criticised the leniency of the sentences. Their victims were taken and shot while they were in a UN-protected enclave in Bosnia-Herzegovina.

The UN has stood idly by in the commission of a number of atrocities over the last few decades. They have no political will or desire to guarantee the freedoms we take for granted.

Iraq has become the utter disaster that we said it would become.

Whilst Sunni Islam is in the majority around the world, in the Middle East it ranks equally with Shi’a Islam, and Shi’a Islam forms a great belt or crescent from Iran through Southern Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Syria to Lebanon. The Middle East may well degenerate into an inter-religious war. The end result will be the establishment of a strong man there under a religious dictatorship that will ultimately bring Europe into the Middle East in occupation.

As usual, oil is political leverage and Iran’s reserves are diminishing. Thus it needs to use what it has to consolidate its power. The Shi’a base in Iraq is now calling on the Coalition forces to leave Iraq and thus leave the oil reserves effectively in Shi’a hands. This is not the beginning of the end but merely the end of the beginning of the wars there. The Muslims in the Middle East are using anti-US and anti-Christian hatred as a political tool to unite what would degenerate into two rival warring factions.

There is no peace among them.

Prophecy is playing out now to deal with the nations involved there. We discussed these aspects in relation to the Sons of Shem: Part I (212A) and the Descendants of Abraham in the 212 series this Passover.

We will make some minor additions and release the new editions soon. We will then go on with the publications of the papers Sons of Japheth and Sons of Ham.

In the History of the Nations website these papers will all be listed, and the structure of the tribes and nations and their genetics and identification with the Bible genealogies will be explained.

We hope to produce a coherent answer to and demolition of the theory of evolution in the process.

Messiah is coming soon and he will deal with these people when he comes and every tribe will tremble when that happens.

On the third day of next Sabbath i.e. Tuesday we will also celebrate the New Moon of the Second Month and a message will be issued for that day also.

Have a pleasant Sabbath and a peaceful time.
