New MoonMessage by Wade Cox

New Moon 1/10/26/120

Dear Friends,

This New Moon coincides with the summer solstice in the Southern Hemisphere that is on 23 December 2003 of the heathen calendar. The solstice traditionally has what is called king tides and this year the tides will also be happening with the usual spring tides which occur at the New Moon and the full moon. Thus, this year the king tides will be the largest seen for some time and may well set significant height records.

Remember that in 1997 we released the paper Global Warming and Bible Prophecy (No. 218) and also, at the same time, we released The Last Thirty Years the Final Struggle (No. 219), which dealt with the wars of the last thirty years of the Jubilee. At that time we were, or more particularly I was, thought to be a little eccentric to say the least. Now most of that has come to pass and we are now considered perhaps conservative. The scientists were saying it would take 1000 years for sea levels to rise one foot. It took under four years or more accurately, we might say, it took a time times and half a time, that is, three and a half years or 1260 days.

There is no doubt that the sea levels are rising rapidly now and are at present about half a metre higher than they were some ten years ago. I live on the South Coast of NSW and I have watched the sea rise over the last ten years here to the point where people can no longer walk in areas of sand bars and spits they once walked over with ease. I have not seen people access the sand bars now for some three years. Islands in the Torres Strait have lost their means of vegetable production due to inundation. The Maldives are in danger of complete submersion soon and on it goes across the Pacific. The Commonwealth Heads of Government (CHOGM) Conference put Global Warming of its agenda next year, ignoring it this year despite the pleas of the island nations,. The British are ignoring it and failing to plan for the contingencies. It is every person for themselves. Development goes on along the coast of Australia mindlessly like lemmings rushing over the cliffs of the divide to the sea in a suicidal drive to economic extinction. When they wish to return over the divide, their economic base will be underwater or unsaleable because it is about to go underwater. How and why is this all happening?

Indian scientists said recently that by 2020 water will rise between one-half and one metre effectively inundating Calcutta, Bombay (Mumbai) and Madras (Chennai). Massive loses will occur elsewhere. But do they have until 2020? That may even be too generous.

The reason the seas are rising is because the ice at the caps is melting. The Antarctic and Greenland caps are now melting, as are the glaciers worldwide. I flew next to and almost over Kilimanjaro last year and the glaciers there are almost gone. Alaska is suffering as is Canada. Twelve months ago the mountains around Vancouver showed very little snow and reliable witnesses inform me that not so long ago they were permanently covered with snow. This last winter, in the very cold snap there, some snow fell where it has not been seen for decades and where once it fell every year.

Our local newspaper here (Bay Post Dec. 12, 2003) reported this week on the Australian governmental release of information to the International Climate Change Conference in Milan. The report to the conference said that the temperature rise between now and 2070 will be five degrees. Now, to put that figure into perspective we need merely to look at the last 100 years. Over that period the world temperature has risen approximately one degree and the net effect of that rise is to rapidly increase the melting of the ice caps and to effectively decrease the ice sheets by an area the size of Australia. The reduction of the whale and penguin population due to reduction in krill and iceberg calving is catastrophic and down by 25-50% in many species of penguins.

Thus, it should be obvious that another one degree will rapidly increase the rate of melt. Even if it remains constant, it will still continue the current rate of melt which is at present in the order of a metre or more every ten years. A rise of a degree will accelerate that to at least double making it two metres by 2013. The increase of a degree will in fact make the melt exponential. The rise will certainly be of the order of two metres by 2010 and may in fact be much shorter. Five degrees by 2070 is conservative given other reports.

The implications of that rise needs to be put into perspective. That rise will make Bangladesh virtually completely inundated. The local town in which I live will be underwater at its major centre and the roads along the coast will be cut in multiple places. The shopping areas of the next town down will virtually disappear. The one after that, half of its area will submerge and require massive bridging and so on down the coast.

In the USA most of Florida, Louisiana and the low-lying areas right around the Gulf of Mexico will be underwater.

The rise of five degrees by 2070, as now forecast by the Australian Government, means at a steady state rise, which is no means guaranteed, we will increase a degree every fifteen years. How much rise does it need to completely melt the caps? Greenland and the West Basin are already melting. Rises will simply make it faster. How high will that be? Well, there is a minimum six-metre rise in the Greenland Cap and a minimum six-metre rise in the West Antarctic Basin. That means a twelve-metre rise in world sea levels before we get to the East Antarctic Basin. There are now species of flora in Antarctica that are completely new. They have not previously grown there during our inhabitation of the place. The place is warming rapidly. When that goes, it means a sixty-metre rise in sea level over and above the previous twelve metres. That means, for the benefit of Americans, a 200 feet rise in world sea levels before we take into account the superheating of the oceans. That may well raise the levels by another one hundred feet or thirty odd metres but by now, who is counting? London, Sydney, Shanghai, New York, Rome and most coastal cities are all gone.

Most world fresh water sources will be gone. The caps are melting and the only supply of pure fresh water available for harvesting is being lost while people fail to act.

So, who can afford to be indifferent about the problem and fail to plan? Coupled with this horror story will be a famine equal to the seven-year famine that Joseph planned for during the eighteenth century BCE in Egypt. That famine altered the shape of the then known world and forced the movement of nations. Egypt planned and survived and through them, many other people also lived.

We have seven years to plan and execute that plan and save for the period from 2011 to 2018. The entire resources of Australia and Canada and the USA must be put into stockpiling food and relocating above the 300-foot or approximate 100-metre level. We should confine the coast to harvesting of resources and reordering production until those areas are inundated. Development should be prohibited under the peak rise point. Remember that those figures make no allowance for tectonic plate movement and earthquake activity, which set off tsunamis that will also go to at least this height above current sea level. Both the overdue Oregon plate and the San Andreas fault could well wipe out the east coast of Australia as well as the Mexican Coast. The landslip in Hawaii did exactly that, allegedly a hundred thousand years ago. The weakening of the magnetic core of the earth by 10% could well reverse the poles, and who knows what that has done previously? We are going into a time of change that is the most significant in the history of Adamic man. The prophets have spoken of it and they have said that the coastlands will weep. There is a very serious cost to the depopulation of the Australian inland and the failure to store significant fresh water. The so-called environmentalists in the cities will rend their garments in despair because of their ignorant stupidity.

By 2010 we will be inundated with refugees, as will Europe itself be swamped. We had better be prepared to control what we currently have and prepare and store to help others or we will be forced into smaller areas of the continents by those who will act to do so. The message is simple: prepare or die.

We are about to go into a time of trouble such as the world has never seen. At the end of it, there will not be many left alive but those who call upon the Lord will be saved.

There are none so blind as those who will not see.

Despite the serious increase in climatic effects and insurance disasters the chairman of the United States Senate Committee on the Environment and Public Works, Senator James Inhofe, says: “’It (Global Warming) is inconsistent with freedom, prosperity and environmental policy progress.’ ‘I’m becoming more and more convinced…that Global Warming is the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on the American people and the world,’ he told a conference briefing” (cf. BBC News Report on the Milan Conference which finished Friday 12 Dec. 2003.

The same report listed the cost of 2003 disasters and headed its article with 2003 climate havoc cost $60bn.

The senior UN official on Climate Change, Claus Toepfer, said that climate change was not a prognosis but a reality that will increasingly bring human suffering and economic hardship (BBC report ibid).

The comments by Senator Inhofe are reminiscent of the Minister for Information in Iraq during the last War. That gentleman earned the ridicule of the world by denying Coalition Force access to Baghdad even when the tanks were in the streets. Perhaps Senator Inhofe is right. Global Warming might be inconsistent with “freedom, prosperity and environmental policy progress” but that does not mean it will go away if you pretend it is not there.

The Australians are also pretending it is not happening. They are pouring money into Seaside residences, many of which will be underwater within a few years if we continue in the rises we are experiencing and projecting from current figures, let alone increases.

The following is a letter I wrote to the Mayor of Eurobodalla Shire Council. I enclosed a copy for the councillor who was to become the next mayor so that she would aware of the problem.

Dear Sir,

I am an academic in ancient religions and systems. I have been a resident of the shire now for over ten years. In that time I, and others, have viewed an increasing rise in water levels in the foreshores. In 2001/2002 over the period of the summer solstice the neap tides reached a height of some 18 in. or 45 cm. above previous record levels. No explanation is available for this phenomenon. This matter was reported in the local newspapers and your Cr. Brown was reported as being there and making a comment regarding the increases over the next 80 years. Surfside reportedly lost some 12 metres of foreshore this year as opposed to some 5-6 metres over the previous twelve years.

In the year 1997 I interviewed a number of scientists and issued a paper to the web (Reference A) available at www.ccg.org/english/s/p218.html.

At that time what I said was regarded as somewhat alarmist. At the same time I issued a paper (Reference B), which was also considered eccentric. It is now fact and unfolding daily. It is at www.ccg.org/english/s/p219.html.

In Reference A the scientists quoted were saying that it would take one thousand years for the water levels to rise 12 inches. It took four years. Whilst I do not expect you to share my views on religious matters I think it important that you note what I say regarding the matters of Global Warming and its effects on the Shire.

In Reference A, I noted that there was some 6 metres rise in world sea levels in the Greenland Ice Cap were it to melt. I also noted that there was some 6 metres of rise in world sea levels in the ice in the West Antarctic Basin should it melt. I also noted the loss of part of Larsen and another ice shelf in total. I noted also that there were some 60 metres of ice in the East Antarctic Basin. These are now standard accepted figures. Larsen B disappeared this year. The West Basin has now formed the largest iceberg of all time to calve soon.

A few years ago our Australian Scientists noted that there had been a drop in sea levels in the Australian shoreline over the last two thousand years of seven feet.

Whilst in Turkey last November I visited the ancient city of Ephesus. I noted the ancient port there some miles inland from Kusadasi the modern port. After discussion with the architect/archaeologist we ascertained that the port was at a level some seven feet or more above the existing levels. Our conclusion was that the drop occurred less than fifteen hundred years ago and was worldwide. I will be returning to Turkey for filming purposes on the ancient cities soon and I will look at this matter further.

I have looked at the matter also of the maps of the ancient sea kings and I am satisfied that the coast of Antarctica was accurately mapped and thus exposed some thousands of years ago. We have only been able to do this with satellite technology recently.

When the Vikings colonised Greenland under Eric the Red in 996 CE and Vinland (in Canada) subsequent to that date, the seas were higher and the weather warmer. Some time in the Eleventh Century and onwards the weather became colder and the Greenland Ice Cap began to expand. Greenland went from being two islands with a winter freeze to one solid cap. This was in a short period of time. The Eskimo or Inuit way of life was better suited to that new climate and the Vikings turned their attention south into Europe and the British Isles. This cool period increased more recently.

What we now see is a reversal of the cool period caused by our own activities. This warming will see an escalation way beyond the seven feet of the previous millennium.

The time scale is far more exponential than the now 80-year time frame being discussed. There is a potential rise of some 72-80 metres or some 200-250 feet, not taking into account superheating which is now being experienced.

Recently on an ABC radio interview a NZ scientist stated that one of the NZ glaciers had disappeared and the others were receding and would continue to recede for the next 80 years to come. They would not all disappear, he said, as it would take a rise of 7 degrees Celsius to achieve that effect. He only expected a four-degree rise to occur. On the same day British scientists released an announcement that they had underestimated the level of the rise and that it would reach 7 degrees Celsius in the not too distant future and within the 80-year period. In other words all the glaciers of the Southern Alps will disappear within 80 years. The northern glacial systems are also disappearing and there will be massive glacial loss and inundation of low-lying areas and then drought.

The heating in the polar circles is much higher than at the equatorial regions and that is why we have not noticed the effects as much. How then does this effect Eurobodalla Shire? The effects are these.
• Yearly exponential increases of water levels will occur from now on. The fluctuations of the yearly temperatures will change the levels of impact but they will nevertheless continue upwards.
• Rainfall will become more erratic.
• El Nino’s will slow the decline over the Southern Alps but will increase arid conditions here generally.
• Armouring the shoreline will provide at best only temporary relief but will not prevent the major destructions that will follow as the rise in shorelines exceed the capacity to armour and build sea walls.
• Failure by council to adequately plan will be seen as negligence and major litigation will ensue over the coming decades.
The Shire can plan for this and ensure some continuity. However other factors need to be taken into consideration in this planning phase. There are two factors, both of which are important. One is the movement of the core north pole, which has left Canada and is now entering Siberia. The impact of this movement may well have major implications but needs more study.

The other important factor is in the incidence of tectonic plate shift or uplift. The South Coast of New South Wales was wiped out some five hundred years ago by a comet in the Tasman. It also caused destruction in NZ due to the tsunamis there. There are boulders lodged some 70 odd metres above sea level here from the tsunamis. Our scientists also know that a landslip in the Hawaiian chain some thousands of years ago destroyed the east coast. In addition to those factors the Portland fault goes every three hundred years and last went 302 years ago approx. Also the San Andreas Fault is overdue for major quake activity. The obvious conclusion is that potential earthquake activity, which may be imminent, will be made much more catastrophic by increased sea levels.

The Shire should plan to place all major development at the levels of 300 feet above sea levels. Land usage below that and closer to the foreshore should be controlled and made more open space. No major development should be permitted at any stage for the low-lying levels and certainly not in the current CBD. All road systems should be planned on that basis.

Water storage systems should be undertaken at much higher levels and dams put into place preferably in cooperation with the catchment authorities and Tallaganda Shire.

I realise that a day is a long time in the life of a politician. Four years may well be an eternity for some. However, the capacity of our people to survive the next few decades will depend on what you people do now. We once had men of vision and we became strong. Without vision the people perish.

Soon we will go into a full-scale war situation. The effects of Global Warming will see critical water shortages. Without planning we will not be able to cope. We may well have to literally fight for what we have.

On top of that we are vulnerable to inundation throughout the entire East Coast. Our politicians are crippled by the urban stranglehold over the states and do little or no decentralised planning.

The temptation is to simply ridicule what I say. That is all too easy. No doubt many will do so.

I write to you in the interest of our people.

Wade Cox

This letter was not even acknowledged except privately to me by the Councillor. When I wrote the letter, we then went into a full-scale drought and were on permanent water restrictions, and now the council is attempting to build a second dam. I told people generally that the drought would end at the end of November 2003, which it did with steady good rains. However, the problems will continue to grow and will not go away. We have to plan now and prepare, or die. The full impact will come with the rising levels. We are also at war on an increasing basis.

However, not all people will suffer heat and problems. The effects of the increased fresh water melt will cool and slow the Gulf Stream. Europe will face moisture reduction while Scotland will become colder and will freeze over the same period. The increases in levels will see the inundation of Northwest Europe. It is due to that fact and the increased war activity in the last days that the German, Netherlands and British people will be forced to return from the North Country, and elsewhere, to the Middle East. France will become concentrated around the higher ground to the South but review its position even then. That is the basis of the prophecy that Israel will come out of the north, hand in hand with Assyria (cf. Isaiah ch. 19 and Jeremiah ch. 23).

The problem we all face is that most people will not do what is necessary until it is too late. The other solution might be to shoot the messenger. That is done with alarming consistency and no doubt will be done again. Denial is a powerful factor in this matter.

Let us continue to work to educate our people and plan for the future so that we do not continue to slide into the serious troubles of the last days with no preparation.
